If there’s one thing we can trust BLACKPINK member and up-and-coming actress, Jisoo, to do is to shake up Paris Fashion Week. In her role as Dior’s Global Ambassador, the superstar kept her momentum as she attended the unveiling of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s latest effort.

Dior’s AW22 Show

In recent years, among fashion legacy houses, Dior has grown to become synonymous with exciting collaborations. In sync with this spirit, Dior’s womenswear Creative Director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, partnered with D-Air Lab for a collection that juxtaposed heritage and innovation. Mixing art and futuristic technologies, the designer imagined fashion as a bridge between past and future for the brand’s AW22 collection.

Jisoo Graces the Front Row

Along with a list of VIP guests that included House Ambassadors Anya Talor-Joy and Yara Shahidi, Jisoo—who recently lead Disney+ drama Snowdrop—made a special appearance at the front row of Dior’s collection unveiling. Ahead of the show, Dior teased Jisoo’s presence with a tweet that sent fans into a social media frenzy. It anticipated the singer’s stellar return to what’s arguably the most important Fashion Week in the calendar.

And as one might expect, Jisoo did not disappoint. Dior’s Global Ambassador was excitedly welcomed at her arrival. Received by hundreds of fans waiting for her outside La Boite Blanche at Jardin de Tuileries, the multihyphenate made a graceful entrance. For the occasion, Jisoo picked a yellow dress from Dior’s Pre Fall Capsule collection. The singer took the preppy road combining the plaid mini dress with a white blouse underneath. The luxury touch came with a black Lady Dior bag and a tie to accessorize.

The Reactions

Naturally, fans set the internet ablaze, quickly taking to social media to gush about the idol’s look. While some drew comparisons between Jisoo and the 90’s pop culture icon Alicia Silverstone in the movie Clueless, others shared Jisoo’s sightings with other celebrities. Some eagled-eyed BLINKs also noticed Jisoo’s interactions with members of the Dior staff—including Public Relations Manager, Mathilde Favier—and LVMH’s executive board.

Dior’s IT-Girl

Jisoo’s long-standing partnership with Dior has taken the beloved idol to successfully join the high fashion ranks. Upon her appointment as Global Ambassador for fashion and beauty, the star has fronted magazines, starred in global campaigns, and flaunted her VIP status as Dior’s muse. Last fashion season, the Snowdrop leading lady shut down Jardin des Tuileries with her presence and was responsible for the best performing post in Media Impact Value (MIV). According to Launchmetrics, Jisoo helped leverage $10.9 million of MIV for the French brand. Additionally, Jisoo, whose role in Disney+ drama has received praises worldwide, recently became the face of Dior Addict‘s latest campaign.
