Dior’s Spring Summer 2024 collection unveiling took place on June 23. For the occasion, some of the most coveted stars and industry professionals reunited at École Militaire, a Parisian landmark located in the seventh arrondissement of the city. Sitting in the glitzy VIP section, South Korean star and Dior brand ambassador, Cha Eun-woo, turned all eyes on him with his chic and masculine take on sheer dressing.

Front-Row Ready

K-pop star and rising actor Cha Eun-woo is a certified fashion heartthrob. From high-jewelry presentations to product launches and front rows, the superstar has been parading around the world for the most exclusive events. In tandem, the Astro singer has also stepped up his fashion game, donning the most stylish looks and sporting the trendiest items.

Case in point: the superstar honed in on the sheer clothing trend to attend Kim Jones’ latest show in Paris. Eun-woo stepped out in a look straight from the new collection, which featured pleated Bermuda shorts and a gray tailored top with a notch-lapel collar. Modern mid-calf leather boots — reminiscing of rain boots — completed the look.

The almost imperceptible pièce de résistance, however, was the sheer white top he sported underneath. Flashing just enough skin to make a tasteful fashion statement, Eun-woo put a spin on summer-friendly layering and sheer dressing.

See-through Style

ICYMI, in recent seasons, see-through pieces have been taking over every major Fashion Week and red carpet. And while the biggest sheer clothing enthusiasts are women — think of Florence Pugh, Zendaya or Olivia Rodrigo — fashion-savvy men are also tapping into this trend. Brands like Saint Laurent, Rick Owens and Etro have presented see-through ensembles in their latest menswear offerings and celebrities such as Jackson Wang, Manu Ríos and Bad Bunny have been campaigning for the style.

Now, Eun-woo is joining the list too — albeit with a less-risqué take on the trend. The star’s look is also a twist on the shirtless fashion that many male celebrities have been experimenting with recently, which makes it a fun, stylish and masculine styling hack for those who want to try skin-baring styles without actually baring skin.
