Korean-American soloist Eric Nam is coming together with Indian pop singer Armaan Malik and Indian-American DJ KSHMR with a new single, “Echo.” The announcement was made on social media and has since led to a lot of buzz around this interesting trio’s collaboration.

“Echo” has been described as “The first K-pop meets I-pop collaboration built around a meticulously crafted EDM soundscape” by Rolling Stone India. With writing credits to all three artists involved and produced by KSHMR, this is building up to be an anticipated release.

Armaan Malik is one of the top artists in the Indian music scene at the moment and his love for K-pop hasn’t been much of a secret either. Armaan posted his rendition of EXO Chen’s “Beautiful Goodbye” on his Instagram in September last year. He has also repeatedly appreciated multiple K-pop artists through his platforms.

Eric Nam is a household name for K-pop fans across the world. With Armaan Malik’s massive popularity in the Indian music scene, and KSHMR’s success in the EDM genre, this collaboration is a notable intertwining of Korean, Indian, and American cultural ties.

Fans have expressed their excitement for this collaboration across Twitter too.
