Last year, K-pop star Felix Lee made splashes with his appointment as Louis Vuitton’s brand ambassador. After a few front-row slays at events around the world, the Australian singer has brought his star power to Paris. On March 5, the star made his runway debut with a cameo at Louis Vuitton’s Fall Winter 2024 show.

Felix’s Runway Debut

Stars and celebrity lookalikes have dominated the runways and front rows of Paris Fashion Week’s most recent edition. From the impactful VIP showings at Dior to the Kate Moss doppelgänger walking Marine Serre’s catwalk, the fashion world has witnessed a slew of noteworthy moments.

French fashion house Louis Vuitton, however, might have scored what’s arguably the best celebrity cameo of the season. Shutting down Paris Fashion Week on a high note, the luxury powerhouse scouted one of its most prominent brand ambassadors — Felix Lee himself — to strut down the runway.

The unexpected moment saw Felix, 23, walk down a futuristic set staged at the Cour Carrée du Louvre — one of the biggest courtyards at the Louvre Palace, where Philippe Parreno and James Chinlund built an ultra-modern warehouse adorned with a giant spiked structure at the center.

Modeling alongside the likes of Hoyeon Jung and Mona Tougaard, Felix introduced the ninth look — a white and silver ensemble featuring paneled pants and a white turtleneck top with large rectangular paillettes. Attuned to the futuristic ambiance, the outfit was accessorized with white fuzzy gloves, snakeskin-patterned shoes and a new model of the Side Trunk MM bag. To further enhance the look, Felix, who is well known for his modelesque physique, sported runway-approved platinum blonde hair.

Louis Vuitton’s Heritage

Louis Vuitton’s Fall Winter 2024 show marked creative director Nicolas Ghesquière’s 10th anniversary at the helm of the French luxury giant. Talking to Associated Press, the designer shared how meaningful his latest collection has been for his career. “This is a particular evening, a meaningful evening. Ten years ago… I remember the feeling of ‘beginning,’ the immense joy I felt to be among you,” Ghesquière said, using words from the show notes he shared during his inaugural presentation in 2014.

Throughout his tenure as the creative director of  Louis Vuitton’s womenswear, Ghesquière has launched the LVMH-owned powerhouse into a new era. Balancing commercial success and cultural relevance, the French brand has reportedly “doubled in size in the past five years,” becoming the world’s first luxury house to surpass €20 billion in annual sales.

Louis Vuitton has also strengthened ties with influential names in fashion and entertainment, including stars from the Asia Pacific, from model and Squid Game star Hoyeon Jung to Felix Lee, member of K-pop group Stray Kids.

Felix’s runway appearance comes on the heels of a fantastic year for the star and the group he is part of. In 2023, the Australian rapper conquered several individual and collective pursuits in fashion, from fronting a Tommy Hilfiger campaign with Stray Kids to becoming a front-row fixture at Louis Vuitton presentations. The K-pop star also endorsed the French brand on international red carpets and global stages, including the MTV Video Music Awards and Lollapalooza Paris.
