BLACKPINK’s Jennie teamed up with the apparel brand Calvin Klein to create a limited-edition line. Titled “Jennie for Calvin Klein,” the capsule collection was released on May 10. To celebrate the launch, the multihyphenate star and Calvin Klein hosted a party in Seoul. Ahead, get an exclusive inside glimpse at the fabulous night.

The Party

The event took place at Scėne Seoul (Scène 쎈느)  in Seongsu-dong, one of the city’s hottest spots in the creative scene. The place was redesigned to mirror the color palette of “Jennie for Calvin Klein.” Additionally, the venue featured conceptual light installations by the Japanese graphic artist and art director Yoshirotten

Showing up and showing out, Jennie delivered a memorable look for the occasion. Dressed in a lilac knit mini dress  — one of the most coveted items of the capsule collection — the “Solo” singer turned all eyes on her upon her arrival. Jennie paired the look with platform pumps of matching color and joined the hair bow trend by adding little ribbons to a single side braid.

The Glory actress Cha Joo Young made sweatpants look party-appropriate by mixing them with a pair of heels and a cropped knit top. Cha’s costar in The Glory, Shin Ye-Eun, went for a Y2K look featuring a classic Calvin Klein sports bra, a baby tee, and a mini skirt paired with leather high-knee boots.

Other notable guests in attendance included singers Deb Never and Rosalba, Youtube personality Edoardo Esposito, internet star Molly Chiang, model Selina Yang, actors Maika Yamamoto and Hwang Inyeop, and many more. The party featured performances by the DJ sister duo Simi and Haze Khadra.
