K-pop Star Minnie Makes Runway Debut With Miu Miu
Minnie, member of K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE, made her runway debut with Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week. On Tuesday, October 1 — the last day of a whirlwind season — the singer took to the runway at the brand’s Spring Summer 2025 show. Her unexpected appearance marked yet another milestone for Minnie, who has explored pursuits outside music as a Miu Miu brand ambassador.
Minnie’s Runway Debut
Minnie was appointed as a Miu Miu ambassador in 2023. Since then, the vocalist has attended various events for the brand, including previous Fashion Week shows. The Thai K-pop star has also worn brand pieces on magazine covers, editorials, and campaigns. However, her latest foray into fashion marked the first time Minnie modeled a new collection on the catwalk.
For her first modeling experience at Paris Fashion Week, Minnie embodied Miu Miu’s preppy side. The star wore a navy blue shirt layered over a high-collar white top that peeked over the neckline and hems. The silhouette was neither tight nor form-fitting, walking the line of androgynous and embracing the celebrated quirky chic aesthetic Miuccia Prada has crafted for the brand. Minnie also wore a mid-length white skirt with gold embroidered details and opaque tights.
Beauty-wise, the pop star departed from the girl group aesthetic she generally favors on stage. At Miu Miu’s SS25 show, Minnie sported a look matching the runway aesthetic: minimalist and understated makeup focused on highlighting natural features with a dewy base. To match the catwalk’s hair mood board, Minnie’s hair was styled in a way that pinned most of her fringe back.

Miu Miu’s SS25 collection examined the brand’s close relationship and “cultural dialogues” with women artists and filmmakers.” Held at Palais d’Iéna, the runway itself was a parade of recognized industry names including actors William Dafoe, Hillary Swan and Elliot Sumner, as well as fashion sweetheart Alexa Chung.
For next year’s warm seasons, Miu Miu debuted bold colors and athletic-inspired attire. Think: track and motorcycle jackets showcased alongside suede pieces, swimsuits and knee-length skirts. As per usual, the Italian brand made a statement with its newest collection. This time, it was one that championed individuality in non-conforming expressions and explored “how women see themselves, through their own gaze.”
Celebrities from all over the world populated the event’s front row: Ariana Greenblatt, Jang Wonyoun and Shailene Woodley are just some of the A-listers who made an appearance.
