As the air grows crisp and the nights stretch longer, Kenshi Yonzeu and Hikaru Utada are joining forces for the first time on the new collaboration “Jane Doe.” Serving as the ending theme for Chainsaw Man — The Movie: Reze Arc, the track drifts between haunting and tender. Yonzeu’s sings of stark imagery “Goldfish released into a rusty pool/ An apple we hid in a shoebox”  that’s woven against Utada’s chilling refrain, “Walking on broken glass barefoot/Drops of blood fall with each pang of pain, the track plunges you deep into darkness in all the right ways. “Jane Doe” is delicate yet unsettling with a melancholic pull, fitted for the end of summer as we head into Autumn. The pair’s voices circle each other like dancers in a dark ballroom, creating something that feels intimate and cinematic. With its haunting beauty, “Jane Doe” feels perfect for those nostalgic fall nights playlists, right on the cusp of a spooky season.

Harra’s latest single “Tamasya di Angkasa” feels like a cosmic daydream bottled into a pop track. It’s the kind of song that belongs on the soundtrack of a movie — think the main character skipping through Central Park totally lost in love. Bright guitars, crisp drums, warm keys and airy synths turn the track into an upbeat rom-com anthem that feels like falling in love in real time.

The song carries a powerful heartbeat: a love that endures, even when life gets messy. Harra delivers their lines like vows set to a beat, with lyrics such as, “The two of us will be together, through light and darkness” and “Even when heat and rain come, a thousand storms stand in the way, you and I will endure.” They sing about love being not just a feeling but a choice. Yes, love is messy, but it’s also resilient, unstoppable, and full of hope.

Amanda Caesa – “Trouble”

Image Courtesy of Wecord Evermore Indonesia

What happens when your heart says, “stay” but your mind screams, “run?” Indonesian Singer-songwriter Amanda Caesa captures that tug-of-war in her newest single, “Trouble.” Inspired by her own experiences and a playlist full of Laufey, Amanda reveals her vulnerability, telling the story of being stuck in a toxic relationship that feels more like an obsession than love. She opens with the wistful line, “Baby, I think we’re lost in translation,” before confessing, “I think it’s just an obsession.” But instead of wrapping this struggle in heavy balladry, Amanda gives it a refreshing twist.

She juxtaposes her confessional lyrics against a breezy fusion of bossa nova, jazz, and pop. The melodic result is a song that sways gently and feels like a late-night reflection, soft yet nostalgic. The warm guitar chords and playful rhythm highlight the duality of the lyrics: sweet on the surface, but laced with tension underneath.
