Jeff Satur – “Golden Night”

Thai multi-hyphenate Jeff Satur returns with the stunning pre-release track “Golden Night” just ahead of his new EP Red Giant. Known for his versatile voice, Satur released this sweet ballad just in time to warm listeners’ hearts for the holidays. “So nice here, but so lonely without you,” Satur sings with a sorrowful tone, “A thought of us in that year makes me blue.” Slow percussion and jazzy piano accompany Satur’s vocals as he sings about mourning a relationship and wishing for a New Year’s miracle. The second chorus leads way to a flourishing brass saxophone bridge that carries through the final chorus, “Old love / that never seems old / this whole New Year’s still all yours.”
The music video, in which Satur acts alongside Thai actress Janistar, features a pure love story opening with the quote, “Every year they say it might snow, but to me it’s just a miracle.” They grow closer during their time together working at a hotel, celebrating the holidays together before mysteriously parting ways. The winter snow brings them back together in a brief, bittersweet meeting before a final reunion with the quote, “But sometimes… Miracles happen twice.”
f5ve – “I Choose You”

The internet’s beloved “interdimensional dream agents from Tokyo” make a triumphant return with their deluxe album, SEQUENCE 01.5. The pop diva quintet prove that they are here to stay with remixes reimagining their popular hits alongside brand new tracks. The lead single off this deluxe album, “I Choose You,” serves up nostalgic dance pop. “I Choose You” has a sentimental edge to it with lyrics like, “End of it all where I belong / The only place is in your arms” and “Any life, any galaxy / I choose you every time.”
It feels like a love letter to their fanbase, hi-5, who are constantly vocal about their love and support for f5ve. The pre-chorus is a standout moment, where RUI’s emotional vocals take center stage as the synth layers build up to the bright and hopeful chorus. The music video features early 2010s colorful camp realness that feels straight from a Tumblr or We Heart It feed. F5ve maintains their signature flair with “I Choose You,” while simultaneously upgrading their sound to represent a new era.

CLOSE YOUR EYES – “X”

Rising K-pop septet CLOSE YOUR EYES (CYE) defy the speed limit and pave their own lane in “X.” The song is one of two title tracks from their third mini album, blackout. “X” expresses CYE’s ambition to go beyond their maximum potential with lyrics from member JEON MIN-WOOK. CYE compare their desires to one of a fearless racer as they sing in the chorus: “(To the max) Limitless speed / Only mine / Follow your heart / Five, six, seven, eight until it breaks.” The song transcends the expected sound for a racing concept. Rather than a song overflowing with intensity, the song’s sophisticated vibe radiates a whole new level of confidence. “X” presents a strong R&B foundation that shines in the diverse synth layers, rhythmic drums, and soulful vocal runs. If you can’t get enough of “X,” blackout closes out with an English version of the track.
The music video for “X” continues CYE’s intricate lore, as the members alternate between dream and reality in an endless time loop. With contribution from KENSHIN, CYE deliver choreography that combines powerful isolations with smooth textures. After their record-breaking debut, “All My Poetry,” and momentum building comeback, “Snowy Summer,” CYE are ready to soar to new heights with this matured concept.

As the anthem of this year’s championship, “M.I.A” provides hard hitting beats and a chorus built for chanting in a crowd of thousands. KATSEYE member Megan said in a press release, “When Riot asked us to reimagine M.I.A for Game Changers, as a gamer I was like ‘YES’! Izabela Rose – “Tipsy Truth”

While the connotation of drunk texts is usually associated with things we normally would never say aloud, retro pop artist Izabela Rose introduces an alternative — “Tipsy Truth.” In her latest single, the former Disney darling trades recklessness for ambition, singing of the moment when you’ve finally mustered enough courage to confess your feelings to a special someone. “It’s not about being reckless — it’s about being real,” Rose shared in a press release.
Led by hazy synths and punchy drums, “Tipsy Truth” is warm and steady, washing over the listener as Rose’s honeyed vocals carry the track with tenderness and raw honesty. “I’m not holding a drink, but I feel that same spin / The kind that makes you wanna call him again,” she sings before swinging into the main hook. We’ve all been there, staring at our phones while contemplating whether or not to send that risky text. Somehow, Izabela Rose makes it feel a lot less scary with this late-‘80s, early-‘90s-inspired pop dream.
MONSTA X – “baby blue”

Veteran K-pop group MONSTA X has steadily expanded their English-language discography for some time now, becoming one of the few Korean groups of their caliber to seamlessly blend the two worlds without missing a beat. In their newest English track, “baby blue,” the sextet delves back into their synth-pop bag for a more melancholic approach that thrives on heartache and constant memories of what was.
Contrasting their usual strong and charismatic concepts, “baby blue” brings MONSTA X back down to ground zero, stripping them of their confidence and replacing it with a vulnerability that seeps into every chord like rainfall. “You dance like I remember, baby blue / Still looks good, it always did on you / Oh, and there’s no easy way to lose a love that you get used to,” the group croons throughout the chorus. Even after a decade of hits, classics, and fan favorites, something about their softer and sadder tracks always hits a bit different — and we hope it never comes to an end.

“It’s been a while since a song has sparked this much excitement in me,” Tabudlo said in a press release, “I collaborated with some of the best world-renowned producers, and together we made something I’m truly proud of.”

BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE – “Winter Glow”

BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE are ready to welcome the winter season with the heartfelt track “Winter Glow.” Contrary to the powerful, performance-based tracks the septet is known for, this new single demonstrates their versatility. The song captures the warmth of spending time with that special someone in the chilly weather. “Winter Glow” is sonically described in a press release as a blend of “soft electric piano tones that evoke the crisp winter air with a chill, lo-fi hip-hop inspired beat.” BALLISTIK BOYZ’s unique blend of energetic rap lines and sweet high notes is a modern twist on a song glowing with holiday cheer. The music video captures the tender moments shared in the winter time, alongside the members’ sincere vocal performances.

GIRLSET – “Little Miss”

GIRLSET is bringing the 2000s back with their newest single release “Little Miss.” The four member group consisting of Lexi, Kendall, Camila, and Savanna, have brought to life what GIRLSET is all about: bold energy, confidence and being unapologetically themselves. The track has an R&B-pop sound, with energy centered on synths, club-like beats, and back to back vocals.
With its hook, “Little miss nice, but I might bite / Don’t try, I got a million moods, I’m little miss,” the lyrics reflect the group’s rebrand. They are flirty, grown, and ready for a new era of the group.
The music video takes viewers to the busy streets of LA, where the girls take over the city with choreography by Latrice Kabamba of Jam Republic. It switches between different times of day, alleyway scenes, and a Y2K-inspired backdrop, bringing to life that early-2000s girl-group feel. With “Little Miss,” GIRLSET establishes that they’re here to stay.

WASIA PROJECT – “Letters From The Day”

Coming off the heels of a successful festival season, sibling duo Wasia Project are back this year with the forlorn single, “Letters From The Day.” Creating at the intersection of indie-pop and jazz, Olivia Hardy and William Gao bring a sense of both love and loss in their first new track since the 2024 EP Isotope. The single captures the torturous process of losing a relationship with somebody who’s leaving you behind. As Wasia Project described it in a press release, “It’s a desperate plea to a lover to stay and fight for a relationship.”
Hardy evokes the pain written into the lyrics, singing, “I remember every single thing we ever fought about / I swear to god you’d still be here if only we had talked it out.” Gao accompanies with heartwrenching piano, building up the layers of the jazzy track.
