As summer winds down, the new music releases are ramping up across the globe. From high energy K-pop anthems and sentimental late-night R&B to laid-back jazz, we’ve curated the freshest global tracks to soundtrack your days. No matter your mood, this Sunday Spin has a song (or three) to keep you grooving all week long.
Stray Kids – “CEREMONY”
Get ready to celebrate loud and proud with Stray Kids! The eight-member group are back with a brand new album, KARMA. Their title track, “CEREMONY,” is the explosion you’ve been waiting for. From the first beat, the song blends EDM trap with the rhythm of Baile Funk. The effect is a high-voltage celebration anthem of triumph and confidence.
The album itself threads together Stray Kids’ past, present, and future — exploring destiny and the tangled web of choices that lead them here. With “CEREMONY,” the boys are fueled with relentless momentum as they channel their energy into every line and thunderous beat. CHANGBIN opens up the first verse with a bold declaration: “We’re moving forward with maximum power / And we’re gonna dominate, pop it.” True to his words, the group has exploded into a global phenomenon since their debut in 2018. From consecutive Billboard 200 No.1s to stadium tours spanning five continents, “CEREMONY” is the perfect song to celebrate all they’ve achieved.
Saint Levant – “DO YOU LOVE ME? (feat. Fares Sokar)”
Announced three hours before its release, Saint Levant has taken a moment between packed shows to drop four new songs. The additions come at the end of Love Letters, released at the beginning of the year, forming his first deluxe album. The lead single of the four, “DO YOU LOVE ME?,” features Egyptian singer Fares Sokar, while the music video stars the singer and his long-time girlfriend Naika.
“DO YOU LOVE ME?” is the perfect uptempo dance track as the final month of summer approaches. With its steady beat and swinging cadence, it’s hard not to dance and clap along. The song is almost fully in Arabic, straying from Saint Levant’s usual trilingual tracks, and Fares Sokar sings nearly half the song, forming a fun back-and-forth camaraderie with Saint Levant. At the end of August, he can be seen in Berlin for a show, but he has yet to announce anything for the rest of the year.
UMI – “RIGHT/WRONG”
As the lead single off UMI’s sophomore album, “RIGHT/WRONG” is pure R&B and the perfect sultry yet emotionally sensitive song for this week’s playlist. Whether you’re taking a late-night drive or having an introspective art sesh, “RIGHT/WRONG” is sure to set the mood. Starting with deep, warped instrumentals and vocals, the beat is easy with a silky current and constant, hitting bass. Accompanied by a music video, UMI is bringing back traditional R&B vibes with a darkly lit set and full choreography in the rain.
“RIGHT/WRONG” is a part of people stories, an album fully created from stories UMI was told by fans, friends, and family, but “RIGHT/WRONG” is even more personal. “When I feel lost on my path, I ask my mom for guidance,” UMI said in an album promo. “She guides me without judgment, the same way my inner voice does for me when I’m alone. The song is like a conversation between me and her as she teaches me how to trust myself.”
Laufey – “Carousel”
Hidden among thirteen other songs, “Carousel” is a transportive track filled with the sounds of fairytales and honest, open love. Found on Laufey’s third full-length album, A Matter of Time, “Carousel” is placed near the middle of the album and gives rest to heartbreak and self-reflection. Instead, the song is beautifully young-hearted, as the narrator nervously bares her imperfections for her lover to view. As they watch Laufey’s ups and downs on her carousel ride, they do so without judgment, which only slightly eases her worry.
At the end of the chorus, Laufey sings, “You signed up for one hell of a / One man show / Tangled in ribbons / A lifelong role / Aren’t you sorry that you fell? / Onto this carousel.” Brimming with feminine worry, “Carousel” is one of many graceful yet raw songs that are new to listeners this week off her highly-anticipated third album.
Cafuné – “In My Pocket”
Cafuné’s new single “In My Pocket” will drift into your ears like a slow, dazed hug wrapped in the duo’s signature indie-rock warmth. Composed of New York musicians Noah Yoo and Sedona Schat, the multi-platinum duo is setting off in the fall for their largest tour to date, “The Alive Online Tour.” As a preview of their upcoming album Bite Reality, out September 12, “In My Pocket” balances raw affection with a soothing sound.
The track is a thank-you note to the people who see your flaws and choose to stay. Sedona Schat’s vocals float tenderly over the hazy guitar, while Noah Yoo’s production keeps the song’s emotions grounded. The track has a lingering effect that will pull you into a space that’s vulnerable, reflective, and comforting. It’s like a late-night conversation with someone who can see the true you.
Zeina – “So What”
Reminiscent of early 2000s pop and R&B, Zeina’s “So What” is giving us the sexy, feminine energy that was needed to carry us through the rest of the season. After her single “Janato” became a summer classic and independence anthem, listeners impatiently awaited her next drop, and “So What” does not disappoint.
During the chorus, Zeina embodies the meaning of the song by singing, “Tell ’em so what / Baby just lose control / And look into my eyes / Like we’re dancing here alone.” Led by sultry percussion and layered with claps, the beat isn’t just satisfying to listen to, but it’s easy to dance to as well. So, if you don’t already have someone to dance to this song with, it’s time to grab your girls and get to swaying.
ABAO, Nanguaq Girls, and R.Fu – “886 Waves”
ABAO, Nanguaq Girls, and R.Fu’s “886 Waves” is a vibrant, groovy collision you didn’t know you needed. This dream collaboration of indigenous Taiwanese artists rides on a funky, sun-soaked melody that will have your feet moving before you even realize it. The track radiates cultural pride while layering an infectious rhythm that’s impossible to resist. Each bridge flows in like a rising tide, building with subtle flourishes of percussion, synth, and vocal harmonies that creep up to sweep you into a flood of joyous sound. When the chorus hits, the groove fully takes over and every nuance of the layered melody comes alive. By the time “886 Waves” fades, you’re drenched in its summer afterglow, carried along by its cultural richness. Of course, you’ll be itching to ride the tide all over again.

MONSTA X – “Do What I Want”
MONSTA X are back and unapologetically themselves with “Do What I Want.” It’s a sneak peek for their upcoming 13th mini-album, The X, their first full-group comeback in four years since all six members have wrapped up their military service. “Do What I Want” has everything MONBEBEs will love: EDM groups, hip-hop, and swagger. JOOHEON opens the song with a simple, declarative statement that instantly sets the mood for the rest of this party banger: “Is this what you want?” Each chorus feels like you’re letting all your inhibitions go under the neon lights, with playfulness pulsing through every lyric and beat. With more than ten years of experience, MONSTA X balances hype with attitude, turning the track into a night-out anthem for anyone who wants to do what they want. But the party is never over with MONSTA X. The X officially releases on September 1.
SOULDIFIED – “One & Only”
Formed on Netflix’s music reality survival show Building the Band, hosted by AJ McLean and judged by Nicole Scherzinger, Kelly Rowland, and the late Liam Payne, Souldified quickly became viewers’ favorites for their vocal chemistry and nostalgic but fresh approach. Made up of four members — Bradley, Malik, Landon, and Shade — the group committed to staying together even though they didn’t win the show, leaning into the fan support and social buzz. Now, they’re stepping into a new chapter with “One & Only,” their official debut single. The track channels early 2000s R&B-pop with clean production, a steady groove, and the kind of layered harmonies that made groups like New Edition and Backstreet Boys stars. The hook is catchy, sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs-able, and lands like something you’d hear on a burned CD you played on repeat. After a long teaser campaign and plenty of FYP buzz, “One & Only” delivers a strong debut for Souldified.
BGYO – “Headlines”
Filipino group BGYO are here to raise the volume with their latest single, “Headlines.” The track blends Y2K R&B vibes with sleek, modern production “Headlines” is all about letting loose and having fun, grooving with life while only catching good vibes. The quintet pulls into their world of fun with the first silky verse, nudging you to party like your name belongs in the headlines. Layered harmonies throughout the song feel playful, weaving in and out like a conversation. BGYO’s honeyed vocals cut through the groove, shining bright and highlighting each note.
Vince (ft. G-DRAGON) – “차차차 (CHA CHA CHA)”
Vince is turning up the heat in these few weeks of summer with his new single “차차차 (CHA CHA CHA) (feat. G-DRAGON).” It’s one of those breezy tracks made perfectly for chill car rides under the sun with your lover on a lazy afternoon. Featuring G-DRAGON in his first collaboration, the song dropped on the superstar’s birthday, adding an extra dash of sparkle. With Vince’s signature production and relaxed vocals, the song drifts between lighthearted melodies and cheeky energy that’s impossible not to smile at. Together, Vince and G-Dragon trade their unique charisma. Their voices weave in and out, teasing and teasing until you’re fully wrapped up in the song’s tropical vibes. With a history of producing hits for BLACKPINK, BIGBANG, and this summer’s hottest sensation, KPop Demon Hunters’ Saja Boys, Vince shows a new side to his production with this new release.

Anyone, ordinary or not, can feel it fully and wholly. Once “Orang Biasa” begins, you’re wrapped in lush melodies and honeyed harmonies that will lift you into the clouds.
