New York hosted fashion shows and the MTV Video Music Awards, becoming the backdrop of some of the most exciting style moments — from TXT and Shakira’s red-carpet appearances to Felix’s onstage look. Elsewhere, stars such as Kimberley Anne Woltemas and Jeff Satur rocked exquisite formal attire. Scroll down to see the best looks of the week, courtesy of the biggest celebrities and fashion brands in the world.

TXT’s Dior Coordinated Ensembles

The members of K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) made splashes on the red carpet of the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. The Gen Z icons not only took home the award for PUSH Performance of the Year, but they also shone brightly with their style. As Dior’s newest brand ambassador, the quintet had first dibs on looks from the Winter 2023 collection. Each matched their personal style with outfits ranging from contemporary suits to bermudas. Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai took a modern and fun sartorial approach proper of a group leading the way in the fashion frontier. It couldn’t be otherwise. As per the software and data company Lauchmetrics, the news of TXT’s appointment as Dior ambassador gathered a total of $6.2 million in Media Impact Value™ (MIV®) within a two-week tracking period. This metric (specific to the Fashion, Luxury, and Beauty industries) assigns a monetary amount to every post, interaction, and article, allowing brands to measure the Return Of Investment (ROI) of any marketing activity they execute.

Kimberley Anne Woltemas’s Dior Wedding Dress

Dior ambassador and Thai style icon, Kimberley Anne Woltemas tied the knot with actor and model Prin Suparat (Mark Prin). The wedding, which took place in Italy, was a beautiful gathering that reunited big names in the Thai entertainment industry. For the once-in-a-lifetime event, the bride stunned with a couture dress designed by Dior’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri. The regal gown featured floral guipure and as per the brand, it took 600 hours of work. And it showed. Kimberley looked absolutely gorgeous as she walked down the aisle in the dreamy white creation.

Lola Tung’s Sandy Liang Feminine Look

The Summer I Turned Pretty star Lola Tung made a remarkable front-row appearance at Sandy Liang’s Spring Summer 2024 show. The actress carried the spirit of the brand in a feminine red dress paired with brand staples including the Mary Jane Pointe Shoes and the Recital Socks. Lola’s look checked all the boxes of the hyperfeminine trend as it also featured a rosette necklace and warm pink makeup.

Shakira’s Versace Gowns

Standout style was the order of the day at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, but Video Vanguard awardee, Shakira, absolutely knocked it out of the park with her costume-made Versace dresses — not one, but two! The singer arrived at the event in a gold dress that perfectly aligned with the 1990s style revival underway. Featuring a bare back, a plunging neckline, and a high-leg slit; the chainmail gown was fitting for a night where the Colombian superstar collected some of the most-coveted awards. After a performance that even had her fellow stars dancing, Shak changed dresses, opting for a cutout dress with safety pin embellishments. As a testament to her fashion prowess, the Latin legend amassed $1.1 million in MIV® with an Instagram post where she shouted out to the brand for the beautiful gown. That’s what we call power!

Ninh Dương Lan Ngọc’s SIXDO Masterpiece

Vietnamese actress Ninh Dương Lan Ngọc made waves with her fits while visiting New York. However, her look for SIXDO’s debut show at New York Fashion Week takes the crown. The star sported a three-dimensional red dress that recreated the shape of two intertwined roses and paired it with a gloved bodysuit underneath. Turning all eyes on her, she accompanied the outfit with a braided hairstyle and peach-toned makeup. Alexa, play “Flower”!

Jeff Satur’s Cartier Timepiece

Cartier celebrated the opening of its biggest store in Thailand at the Emporium Shopping Complex. For the occasion, the French jeweler invited la crème de la crème of Thai entertainment, including singer and actor Jeff Satur. The KinnPorsche star attended the event in an exquisite three-piece suit and a silk camel top. He matched the look with a Panthère de Cartier watch, an understated necklace, and patent leather shoes, for the ultimate touch of sophistication.

Felix’s Louis Vuitton Fits

Since his attendance at Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Fall show in Seoul, Felix Lee has been a noteworthy VIP of the French brand. His official appointment as ambassador in August generated a total of $4.5 million in MIV within the first two weeks of the announcement — as per Launchmetrics — and he continues to make headlines with this high-profile association.

Attending the MTV VMAs as part of the K-pop group Stray Kids, the star rocked two full looks by the French luxury brand. On the red carpet, Felix proudly represented Louis Vuitton with a black textured jacket paired with slim trousers and a white button-up shirt. Later that night, the K-pop icon took the stage with a fit that included a Corduroy jacket, a sheer turtleneck, paneled pants, and a slew of LV jewelry. Frankly, an A-plus look!

While Felix made it to this week’s list for his Louis Vuitton look, all members of Stray Kids deserve a notable mention. The group shone brightly in coordinated black suits when they accepted the Moon Person trophy for Best K-pop. Then, they went on stage to perform their hit “S-Class,” dressed in matching black and brown utilitarian ensembles.
