4EVE – “Keep a Secret”

Sensational Thai girl group 4EVE has dropped a sassy new track: “Keep a Secret.” The song features techno-like beats, charming melodic singing, and coy verses. The dark, chilling music video, centered around the group’s sultry presence at a party in an abandoned building, perfectly enhances 4EVE’s mischievous energy.  As the video progresses, the girls’ irresistible charm draws in their next target like a siren luring a sailor to an inevitable fate. With dizzying visuals and trance-like visuals, especially during the bridge, it’s almost impossible not to fall under 4EVE’s spell. “How long can you keep a secret?” You’ll know when you listen to “Keep a Secret.”

DOYOUNG – “안녕, 우주 (Memory)”

NCT’s DOYOUNG taps into nostalgia in his latest track “Memory,” the title track of his second solo album Soar. It’s a pop-rock anthem with sentimental lyrics of cherishing precious moments that are long gone. Catchy guitar riffs and a light melody echo the melancholic longing for a time that cannot be revisited. “Why does every goodbye seem beautiful, though sad?” DOYOUNG sings, further reaching out to fleeting memories. These memories exist in a liminal space, untouched by change. The following lyrics, “What can’t change becomes a star,” suggests that such memories should remain twinkling and preserved in the mind.

The music video furthers the narrative through a blend of vibrant and hazy cinematography. DOYOUNG is seen replaying memory files on a computer that shows his childhood memories, focusing on those of his dog. It seems throughout the video that he is trying to alter the memory of his dog passing, but ultimately cannot change the past. Towards the end, viewers are left on a cliffhanger as DOYOUNG clicks through happy moments before considering deleting them. The last scene shows him spending a calm day with his dog. “Memory” not only pulls on your heartstrings, but serves as a reminder that even during the toughest times, you should choose to “remember every moment.” If you’re a fan of nostalgic K-dramas like Twenty-Five Twenty One, this is the perfect song for you.

Tayla Parx Feat. NAYEON – “Era”

For the song’s one year anniversary, Tayla Parx has remixed her self-confident track “Era” with TWICE’s NAYEON. The summer anthem was revamped perfectly for an even more unforgettable season this year. Parx was first introduced to TWICE by co-writing their song “Wallflower,” and reconnected with their team when she heard they were fans of “Era.” “NAYEON’s vocal tone adds such a beautiful new color to the track — it feels fresh, playful, and perfect for summer,” Parx said in a press release.

“Era” is all about glowing up through self-care, setting boundaries, and protecting your peace. Its subtle beats leave room for your confidence to grow alongside the empowering lyrics. Want to step into the “best me era?” This track has the perfect mantra for the summer: “I’m in my uh-uh era / I’m in my “F**k it” era / I’m in my mm-hmm, I already had that era / Booked and busy era.”

j-hope – “Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)”

J-hope’s newest single, “Killin’ It Girl,” marks the end of his first solo world tour while also marking the beginning of a new, sexier chapter for the hip-hop rapper. This year, he has already released music with superstar names like Miguel, Pharrell Williams, and Don Toliver. Now, he’s welcoming the summer heat with Memphis, Tennessee’s hottest rapper — none other than GloRilla.

The duo comes as a surprise, but also makes so much sense. J-hope takes the majority of the song, and GloRilla’s feature is the perfect addition to the track, with her confident, powerful verse coming before the last chorus. Both can be seen in the music video, with the visuals largely in black and white until GloRilla leaves the rest to j-hope and his backup dancers. The choreography, visuals, and sound all suggest that whatever chapter j-hope chooses to write next, it’s going to be showstopping.

Milena – “What about Next Spring (feat. Kim Daniel)”

As the spring of 2025 comes to a close, Milena wonders, “What about Next Spring”? As the first single off her future album, Where to Begin, “What about Next Spring” is a track to calm minds, warm the hearts of hopeless romantics, and complement the buzzing of bumblebees and butterflies. Moving through the world with only memories, Milena sings, “What about next spring / And the spring next to the spring / You left me a sad dream / That I’ll always bring / To another spring,” as Kim Daniel’s voice echoes under hers.

The song is a beautiful fusion of jazz and soul, with production, performance, and writing credits tucked between two people: Milena and Kim Daniel. The song feels incredibly intimate, and since the lyrics and instruments have been created by only two people, it is as personal as it feels. While the song closes out spring, we will be spending the beginning of our summer impatiently awaiting the release of Where to Begin on July 11.

Ellise – “LOSER”

With three new songs on Ellise’s PRETTY EVIL DELUXE this week, there is a lot to catch up on — from dissecting the lyrics to connecting the dots through the album’s lore. “LOSER” has been placed as the eighth song on the deluxe album, and slows it down while telling a somber tale. Giving a glimpse behind the curtain of a relationship that yearns to be perfect, Ellise sings of being wronged, cheated on, and left feeling like a loser. The pop ballad holds a slight country twang and a touch of vintage blues while telling the modern story of a dark pop princess falling victim to betrayal.

While PRETTY EVIL was released in March of this year, Ellise has revisited the album, now adding four new songs. “PRETTY EVIL DELUXE is a closing chapter on this era for me musically,” Ellise shared in a press release. “These new songs represent the aftermath of what PRETTY EVIL stands for, and sprinkle new details throughout the album. I’ve saved the prettiest and most evil tracks for last, positioned deliberately throughout the project. With PRETTY EVIL DELUXE, the full story will finally be on display.” Ellise will soon be bringing these songs to stages across the U.S. alongside Ella Red on the “Pretty Evil” tour.

LANDOKMAI – “Love me still”

Creating a dreamscape with only their voices, Thai duo LANDOKMAI have released their first EP, WHAT EVE?. It consists of five English songs, each as transcendent as the next. Three of the five tracks have been newly released this week, and their prereleases “Hearsay” and “Finger paint” have already attracted global attention. The third song of the EP, “Love me still,” transforms as the song progresses, starting as an ethereal indie song and developing a rock edge before fading out.

The sound synchronistically complements the theme of intertwined disappointment and pain at the reflection of a broken soul. The two other new songs explore similar ideas as they take the listener on an emotional voyage of nostalgia and self-reflection. After working through these feelings in WHAT EVE?, LANDOKMAI are ready to look forward and welcome their journey towards Thai and English success, as well as any other adventures that might come along.

Shreea Kaul – “Crooked Salesman”

Shreea Kaul is back with a heavy club beat that tackles an even heavier message. As an emerging artist in the industry, Kaul’s “Crooked Salesman” is all about the shiny package music corporations sell to young artists, only to leave them high and dry. The track combines this message with a pulsing beat perfect for dancing, creating a unique juxtaposition while facing the reality of these connections.

Kaul’s sound inspiration stems from South Asian music, being born in India, and her lifelong love of Lady Gaga. Kaul refuses to settle for one genre and country and instead is setting herself up for global stardom. Her upcoming sophomore album, Cruel Intentions, will mark another massive moment in the singer’s career upon its release in August — giving fans the perfect collection of music to take into fall.
