The start of a new year brings new beginnings, new experiences, and new music. Whether you’re tanning at the beach and enjoying tropical weather or embracing the cold winter in the city, Team EnVi has the perfect selection of the latest music releases in this week’s Sunday Spin.
Naïka – “ONE TRACK MIND”
After a short holiday break, Naïka is back and bringing some hot summer vibes to this frigid January. Filled with self-love and confidence, Naïka’s “ONE TRACK MIND” is all about how she’s bringing her focus back to the most important person in her life — herself. Over a Haitian-influenced rhythm, she explains her situation of putting in too much effort, losing herself, and crying over a man who treats her coldly.
While the topic sounds bleak, the beat is quite the opposite. With a soothing percussion prominently at the front of the song, “ONE TRACK MIND” is a single that encourages swaying and calmly dancing to, whether that’s alone or with your most loving friends. In fact, that’s exactly what Naïka can be seen doing in the lyric video. Adorned in beautiful, flowing jewelry and placed between her two friends and musical members, Naïka simply has fun and enjoys the music. The song ends with her smiling and singing, “Lage li lage lage’l oh,” meaning “Let it go, let it — let it go, oh” in Haitian Creole.
With only a month left until her debut album ECLESIA, Naïka is preparing for greatness, as she will also be setting off on a headline tour across Europe and North America only eight days after the album drops.
Zeina – “Dalou3a (Nari)”
If your favorite way to keep warm this winter is by dancing through the night, Zeina’s “Dalou3a (Nari)” is a must-add to your playlist. In signature Zeina style, her newest single is upbeat, sexy, and designed for the most alluring people in life. The song is directed at the one she wants to dance with, and who has also had their eyes on her the whole night.
Tempting her partner to come closer, she sings in Arabic, “I fell for the tanned-skin guy / He aimed his arrow and hit me / I want you, my king / Come closer, I’m cold.” Lyrically, the song revolves around the term “nari,” meaning “my fire.” Alongside heavy breathing in the chorus, Zeina describes the rising temperature, her body burning up, and the inescapable feeling of the heat. “Dalou3a (Nari)” is equally hot and catchy. The song has enough repetition to be easily memorable, although it also features individual and unique verses, including a slightly slowed-down, sultry bridge.
With six singles released in 2025 and a strong start to 2026 with “Dalou3a (Nari),” Zeina is certainly turning it up, and Team EnVi is ready to dance along with her.
Madison Beer – “bad enough”

After her latest single “bittersweet” gained major traction on social media, Madison Beer kept the momentum going with “bad enough,” which dropped alongside her brand-new album locket. Trading the sooner’s glossy and loopy synth-driven pop sound for an equally lush balladic R&B foundation, this fourth single continues the yearning storytelling that began with its predecessor.
If “bittersweet” tells the story of a lovelorn woman scorned post-breakup, “bad enough” is a walkthrough to that romantic demise, with callbacks to the former like “These days he says that I seem so sad” and “And what am I supposed to say to that? / When I don’t wanna tell a lie” echoing the lines “One day I’ll wake up sad” and “I don’t lie like you do” from “bittersweet.” While her feathery vocals — which she always showcases live — is a given, it’s this interconnecting narrative that attest to the introspective throughline of this record.
Kento Nakajima – “XTC”

Britney Spears shocked the world with “If You Seek Amy” and Ariana Grande repackaged that risqué wink-and-nudge with “34+35”. Kento Nakajima is adding his own entry to this library of wordplay through “XTC”, his shorthand for ecstasy, the feeling you’d get after this infectious song lures and seduces you into the J-pop sensation’s latest sonic soundscape.
Acting as the lead single off his sophomore album IDOL1ST (releasing February 18), this song opens up a portal into yet another world of Nakajima’s persona. After stepping away from the moody, darker R&B edge of his debut into the saccharine playground of his previous EP IDOLIC, “XTC” intensifies the latter’s pastel colors for brighter and bolder dance-pop hues, fitting comfortably anywhere on a spectrum between Doja Cat’s discography and Saja Boys’s outset without losing an intrinsic touch that hallmarks the Japanese pop predilections.
GALE – “Me Tiene”

After the success of “Lo Que Pueda Pasar,” GALE returns to kick off the year on a happy note. In her upbeat new track “Me Tiene,” she captures the joy of moving on from a relationship that once brought her down. Blending synth and electro-pop, the song is the perfect breakup anthem to blast with your friends. It celebrates feeling good about being with yourself and, eventually, with someone who truly loves you, continuing the theme of women’s empowerment from her last album.
Along with the single’s release, GALE performed at a pop-up concert with Toyota, marking the first live performance of the track. Partnering with the car company, she gave fans a behind-the-scenes look of the making of the track and just a tiny sneak peek of a potential music video coming up.
ENHYPEN – “Knife”

Korea’s favorite vampires are back. ENHYPEN released their highly anticipated single “Knife” as part of their seventh mini album, THE SIN: VANISH, continuing the story of vampires existing in the human world, a narrative they’ve been building since their early debut days. “Knife” is a hip-hop-heavy track driven by trap beats and cutting lyrics. Along with the album come 11 new tracks: six songs, four narrations, and one that plays almost like a skit.
The video showcases ENHYPEN coexisting in the human world, as they try to break free from the taboos surrounding vampires. With choreography-heavy scenes and the occasional knife flying from frame to frame, the group’s charm is felt straight through the screen. Leading up to “Knife,” the group teased the album with a series of videos divided into four chapters: Chapter 1, “No Way Back;” Chapter 2, “Big Girls Don’t Cry;” Chapter 3, “Stealer;” and ultimately wrapping the series with Chapter 4, “Knife.”
While we aren’t getting bitten, ENHYPEN has truly brought us back to our Twilight days.
Rangga Jones – “One and Only”
Singapore-based singer-songwriter Rangga Jones returns with a deluxe version of his sophomore album, Everything I’ve Wanted to Say. The deluxe album Everything I’ve Wanted to Say (and more) features a few recent singles and the brand new track “One and Only.” A sweet and earnest love song, “One and Only,” continues the story of Jones’ history with love from his 2025 album. In this track, he sings of his disbelief at finding such a beautiful love after a past heartbreak. “Can’t you see / that you are my sanctuary?” he asks. “My one and only.”
In an EnVi interview, Jones said the message listeners should take away from his sophomore album is that “love will always come back to you.” This track is proof of that, as Jones admits he “didn’t even want to fall in love again” before he found this love. With soft pop ballad vibes and Jones’ sweet voice, “One and Only” is the perfect track for any hopeless romantic.
Mitski – “Where’s My Phone?”
Mitski is back! The eclectic singer-songwriter returns with the pre-release single “Where’s My Phone?” ahead of her upcoming eighth album, Nothing’s About to Happen to Me. “Where’s My Phone?” is an anxious track that dissolves into a gritty, existential demand by the final chorus in true Mitski fashion. In the chorus, she questions, “Where’d I go? / Where did it go? / Where’s my phone?” Repetition builds tension on the track, alongside the fierce guitar, as Mitski asks the audience questions they cannot answer. The desperation continues with Mitski’s wishful thinking that “surely, somebody will save me,” only to discover that “at every turn […] no one will.”
The music video reflects the bizarre mental spiral of the track with jagged frame rates, peculiar characters, and Mitski’s off-putting embodiment of a strange woman in a gothic house. It sets the stage for this new era of Mitski, whose lyricism cuts deep and leaves listeners with her painful but relatable tracks. Nothing is About to Happen to Me is set to release February 27, giving us plenty of time to repeat “Where’s My Phone?” as many cathartic times as needed.
Other tracks in this week’s Sunday Spin playlist include “Blue” by DxS, “Wall of Sound” by Charli xcx, and “ALL NIGHT LONG” by Hev Abi. Listen to everything mentioned and more, curated by Team EnVi only for you on Spotify.
