As mid-October settles in, this week’s Sunday Spin is all about finding yourself and feeling good doing it. Expect bursts of J-pop color, sleek R&B, and K-pop heat that’ll have you dancing your way through self-discovery. With a mix of confidence, clarity, and a touch of chaos, this lineup is everything you need to power through the week.
HANA – “My Body”
In true HANA fashion, the seven-member global girl group continue to uplift listeners with their latest single, “My Body.” HANA have steadily climbed the ranks as one of the hottest acts in the J-pop scene. The septet are never afraid to show new sides to themselves, all while remaining true to their goal of artistic authenticity. “MY BODY” shows a more colorful and bright image in contrast to their previous release, “BAD LOVE.” This new release is all about empowering listeners to love their body and own it.
As the title suggests, HANA reinstate the value of self-love and independence. The chorus shares an important reminder to listeners: “It’s not for you, my body / Even if you were my sweet honey / It’s not for you, my body / It’s my body, it’s my body yeah yeah.” The song includes production and writing credits from CHANMINA, GRAY, and group member, MOMOKA. With the song’s upbeat tempo and Y2K pop spunk, it makes for the perfect energy booster!
Masego – “Unhinged”

Masego is back and the wait was worth every second! The Grammy-nominated artist has returned with “Unhinged,” his first solo track in two years. It’s pure Masego: smooth, eccentric, and impossible to play just once. Born from a jam session that turned personal, the single drips with jazz, soul, and R&B. It’s a sound that wraps you up in warmth, wit, and an irresistible rhythm.
“Maybe I’m unhinged,” he croons with a mix of humor and self-awareness, turning post-breakup reflection into smooth charisma. The track has that breezy honesty and playful introspection, tapping into a feeling anyone can relate to. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to hit replay, tap your foot, and get lost in Masego’s world.
MEOVV – BURNING UP”

K-pop girl group MEOVV bring the heat with “BURNING UP,” a fierce, unstoppable pop banger that practically sparks off the speakers. From the opening line, “Got me burning,” the track crackles with energy, pairing Jersey club beats with fiery synths and vocals that demand at least a head bop if not a full-on dance break. The members bring pure swagger and precision onto the track as they deliver each line with the kind of effortless confidence that makes listeners want to move before the first verse even ends.
The outro — “It’s like a wildfire / I’ma stay right by ya / Come take me up higher / Let it, let it, let it, let it burn” — cements the song as a full-on adrenaline rush. In the music video, the girls find creative ways to beat the heat: setting off sprinklers with burning chicken wings, strutting through the fan aisle of a store, and even dancing in the rain Step Up 2-style. “BURNING UP” isn’t just a single; it’s another reminder that MEOVV know exactly how to set the stage and your playlist on fire.
mikah – “Escape”

Missing that late-night, star-gazing, “should I stay or should I go?” vibe? Mikah’s new single “Escape” is exactly what you need. The track is the first release of mikah’s three-part single project, Homesick. “Escape” blends R&B’s easy flow with the glow of indie pop and the grit of alt-rock guitars into a bittersweet anthem about leaving the comfort of home to chase something bigger. He sums it up perfectly with the lines, “I’m at home sick and I’m sick of it,” capturing that bittersweet itch to grow up while still feeling tethered to where you started.
The sparse, emotive production lets mikah’s vocals float effortlessly over the song’s introspective lyrics with every line feeling like a quiet confession. It’s the kind of track that makes you stare at the ceiling, dream a little bigger, and maybe start packing a metaphorical (or literal) bag. “Escape” is a wistful, heart-on-your-sleeve anthem that proves sometimes running toward the unknown sounds a lot like finding yourself.
MikkyZia – “Aku Dah Lupa (Club Edit Version)”

“Aku Dah Lupa” has made its rounds on social media as a viral hit originating from Indonesia. The music video amassed over 44 million views, and the song sits at over 114 million Spotify streams. The song’s hype has yet to cease, so the duo behind the viral sensation — MikkyZia — decided to take the track to new heights. MikkyZia dropped “Aku Dah Lupa (Club Edit Version), an amplified twist on the original track. With the intention of creating a version more suitable with club and party settings, the club edit version is more upbeat and features a playful synth that makes dancing along irresistible. MikkyZia are overwhelmed with the song’s positive reception, and teased that new works are on the horizon. “Thank you for supporting Mikyy and me, and please don’t get bored of listening to our songs,” MikkyZia shared in a press release.
Sezairi – “Broken Promise”
Singapore’s golden-voiced Sezairi is back with “Broken Promise,” a standout track from his fifth album, The Art of Surrender. The silky R&B-pop track will have you swaying through the heartbreak, turning that ache into an irresistible rhythm. Over velvety production, Sezairi reflects on pain and self-realization as he sings, “Now I’m stuck with a broken promise / Dealing with the hard truth.” Vulnerable yet assured, the song captures that bittersweet space between loss and clarity. “Broken Promise” is the kind of song that teaches us that surrender isn’t weakness, it’s the start of something honest.
Daju – “Lifeline”

Daju is ready for a brand new chapter in his artistic journey with his debut EP, The Ones That Made It. This EP builds on the momentum of Daju’s viral 2025 song “Rain” and showcases his musical versatility. The focus track, “LIFELINE,” is emblematic of the EP’s universal message of loss in all facets. “Ultimately, it’s an introspective process to gain perspective and appreciation for the people who’ve stayed,” Daju shared in a press release. “It’s a tribute to the ones that made it.”
“LIFELINE” stays true to Daju’s signature chill sound that speaks to the heart. The melody is dreamlike and elevated with elements such as strings and piano keys. Daju’s heartfelt vocal delivery is the cherry on top as it drives the song’s message home. Daju is an emerging talent from Hawaii, and “LIFELINE” is only a glimpse of what he has to offer in this nine-track musical exploration.
Snow Man – “BOOST”

After the sensational “CHARISMAX” and cinematic “TRUE LOVE,” J-pop powerhouses Snow Man are continuing their triumphant 2025 reign with “BOOST.” This marks the third pre-release from Snow Man’s upcoming fifth studio album, ONKOCHISHIN. What Snow Man have proven from these early releases is their sheer star power and versatility. “BOOST” is a hard-style techno influenced pop track that showcases a more powerful and serious side of the team. In harmony with the song’s intense energy, the music video concentrates on Snow Man’s impressive performance abilities and dynamic choreography. Nothing stands in the way of the nonet, as they sing: “Whatever the distance / Ain’t no matter / I’m a flash of lightning / Don’t see myself losing / Now, outta my way.”
Leigh-Anne – “Dead and Gone”
Leigh-Anne rises from the ashes in her latest single, “Dead and Gone.” The track is a bold declaration of rebirth wrapped in hypnotic reggae-pop rhythm. It packs the kind of bite that only comes from total reinvention as she delivers lines such as “You’re only someone when somebody kills you” with a cool, defiant edge. Leigh-Anne sheds her old self, the one that played it safe, and fully steps into her own fire.
The accompanying visualizer brings that transformation to life, pitting two versions of herself against each other. Dressed in a sleek green two-piece, Leigh-Anne faces off with her fiery red-haired alter ego in a stylish, high-drama confrontation. It’s a visual rebirth steeped in confidence and attitude, capturing the spirit of “Dead and Gone.” The single is just a preview of Leigh-Anne’s upcoming debut solo album My Ego Told Me To, which will be released on February 20.
Other tracks in this week’s Sunday Spin playlist include “Can You Entertain” by Kim Lip,“Teenage Ramble” by Lexie Liu, and “Mulai” by RINNI. Listen to everything mentioned and more, curated by Team EnVi only for you on Spotify.
