Snow Man – “CHARISMAX”

J-pop’s iconic nonet, Snow Man, are ready to amp up their charisma to the highest degree with their latest single, “CHARISMAX.” The electric dance pop track is one that will have you chasing the replay button. The explosive chorus flaunts Snow Man’s vocals atop a quintessential J-pop sound—an accelerating beat with irresistible, bright synths. Members Hikaru Iwamoto, Tatsuya Fukazawa, Raul, Shota Watanabe, Koji Mukai, Ryohei Abe, Ren Meguro, Ryota Miyadate, and Daisuke Sakuma showcase their five-year experience with their synergy.
“CHARISMAX” demonstrates Snow Man’s confidence, and urges audiences to unleash their charisma to overcome their daily lives. Raul raps in the second verse: “Life’s just like a stage / Everyone’s an actor (CHARISMA) / Anything’s possible, yeah you can do anything (CHARISMA).” The music video further exemplifies this motivation, where it shows average citizens conquering setbacks through the motivation of Snow Man. This builds up to an explosive flash mob at the iconic Shibuya Crossing, expressing the team’s ability to unite people of all ages and experiences thanks to their artistry.
MIYEON – “Sky Walking”
I-dle’s MIYEON spreads her wings with her new solo single “Sky Walking.” The track feels like stepping into a dream under the stars. Shimmering guitars and synths carry her vocals as she paints a scene of a cosmic romance where the Milky Way glimmers above and love feels infinite. The chorus captures that dizzying, heart-racing rush of being completely swept away in a crush: “The showering Milky Way / You were followed by melodies / Connect the zodiacs / Where we can just relax.”
Each verse sparkles with a mix of sweetness and intensity, from playful lines such as “I pretend I don’t know / Just say I wanna look closer? No way” to the crashing waves of the outro, “Hit me with a tsunami / I don’t mind it.” It’s the kind of track that feels both soft and explosive, like a firework blooming across the night sky. “Sky Walking” isn’t just a love song, it’s a whole horizon of feeling meant to lift listeners up and carry them above the clouds.
Sabrina Carpenter – “Tears”
Sabrina Carpenter’s new single “Tears” is a disco fever dream: raunchy, clever, and impossible not to grin through. Backed by a groovy bassline and shimmery production, Carpenter leans all the way into disco decadence with a flirtatious wink. Instead of heartbreak, her lyrics turn the bare minimum into foreplay: “I get wet at the thought of you / Being a responsible guy / Treating me like you’re supposed to do / Tears run down my thigh.” Equal parts hilarious and cathartic, “Tears” is a mordant reminder that sometimes the sexiest thing a man can do is just act right.
The theatrical music video sets the tone as it places Carpenter in a surreal funhouse after a car crash where every room gives her a new, glammed-up persona. It’s campy and playful, and the perfect visual match for a track that feels like dancing under glitter confetti on a 1970s dance floor. “Tears” is the lead single of Carpenter’s latest album Man’s Best Friend, already making waves as a strong contender for album of the year.
Kingfish – “Nothin’ But Your Love”
Christone “Kingfish” Ingram is back with a smooth new single, “Nothin’ But Your Love,” and it’s hitting all the R&B feels. The track has a playful yet tender energy with lush melodies and his signature guitar chops. It overflows with heart as the Grammy winner croons lines like, “Nothing but your love will do / Ain’t nobody else compares to you / Ain’t no going back now / Everything is changed now.” Kingfish delivers a modern blues love anthem where listeners can practically feel the endearment radiating through every note.
This single is just a taste of Kingfish’s upcoming album, Hard Road, that will be released on September 26. The project will include more heartfelt moments mixed with blues, rock ‘n’ roll, soul, and R&B.
Tokischa – “MUXAXA”

Looking for an instant energy boost in under two minutes? International Dominican recording artist, Tokischa, has just the solution for you! She just dropped her latest single, “MUXAXA” featuring fellow Dominican artist, La Mas Doll. The song is unapologetically Dominican in multiple facets. “MUXAXA” fully dives into the dembow genre, a quick-paced and dance-oriented musical style originating from the Dominican Republic. The simple, yet authentic music video was also filmed at the Bronx Dominican Day Parade in New York City. The two artists beam with pride as they spit their bars amidst a sea of people celebrating Dominican culture.
Tokischa and La Mas Doll ride the infectious beat effortlessly, proving their prowess as two Dominican artists ready to take on the global music scene. The lyrics are described in a press release as “a masterclass in intimacy, like sharing your deepest thoughts with a close friend.” It is hard to believe that this is their first collaboration with each other, yet with their undeniable chemistry and flows, EnVi hopes it is not their last! “MUXAXA” is complete with a catchy hook—a melody sure to linger in your mind long after you listen.
no na – “sad face :(”
As summer winds down, Indonesian pop quartet no na has the perfect track for those reflective nights spent by the poolside. The team, consisting of Christy, Esther, Baila, and Shaz, has only been around for a few months, yet they read like a seasoned unit. No na already has their fair share of diverse songs in their discography, and “sad face :(“ is their newest addition. First teased at Head in the Clouds 2025 in Los Angeles, fans have been eagerly awaiting the official release of this relatable anthem.
“Sad face :(“ is a dreamy R&B pop ballad that you can’t help but sing at the top of your lungs. No na’s vocals are on full display, as they sprinkle vocal ad-libs and carry harmonies throughout the song. The chorus is almost nursery-rhyme-like, as they sing: “Sad face, mad face / Best you never had face / Your place, my place / You won’t meet me halfway.” This track is a direct call-out to that bygone lover with guilt-trip behavior, who holds you back in the relationship.
ONE OR EIGHT – “Young & Reckless”

ONE OR EIGHT are cranking up the volume with their latest single, “Young & Reckless.” Following their June release of “365,” the global eight-member group dives headfirst into heavy electronic trap beats and slick hip-hop grooves. The track wastes no time in setting the tone with sharp snares and bass-heavy drops to create a sonic atmosphere that’s bold and electrifying. Each member brings their own flair to the song, radiating unstoppable confidence and playful edge that seamlessly blends into one high-octane anthem. Thriving in contrast, the track is full of switch-ups, where booming bass meets smooth vocals and sharp rap. Lyrically, the song packs punch after punch with lines like “I’m a superstar/ I can’t be controlled” and “Getting money, but I still need more” capturing the ambition that drives the group forward.
“Young & Reckless” is more than just a single. It’s a rally of attitude and ONE OR EIGHT’s strong declaration. They’re unapologetically charging forward to tear up and dominate the stage. If you need a reminder to live life without regrets, “Young & Reckless” is the one for you. So don’t be afraid to face your fears and live your life—young and recklessly.
Hayley Williams – “Parachute”
Hayley Williams brings her latest solo album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party to a crashing, cathartic close with the bonus track “Parachute.” The song dives into the chaos of love and the despair of falling without safety. Williams pours raw emotion into the second verse as she confesses, “You told me you waited for me, you said that you won… And you were at my wedding, I was broken, you were drunk / You could’ve told me not to do it, I would’ve run.” It’s a devastating end to an album already steeped in romantic trauma, making it one of her most vulnerable works yet.
On “Parachute,” Williams turns heartbreak into a free fall, a final surrender to the hurt. The tracks flow between devastation and beauty. Its soaring chorus is carried by crashing instrumentation and devastating metaphor: “I thought you were gonna catch me / I never stopped falling for you / Now I know better, never let me / Leave home without a parachute.” It’s an anthem of surrender and frustration that leaves listeners breathless.
Other tracks in this week’s Sunday Spin playlist include “Past It” by Lexa Gates,“BLUE!” by SUNMI, and “TROUBLE” by VOC. Listen to everything mentioned and more, curated by Team EnVi only for you on Spotify.
