Thai stars have proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the fashion scene. In 2023 alone, the world has witnessed these celebs’ sartorial prowess on the covers of magazines and the front rows of Fashion Weeks — of course, not without the corresponding internet buzz. Fashion and beauty brands are also turning to Thai celebrities to headline their campaigns and represent them on the international stage.

The definition of fashion-savvy and versatile, these stars continuously deliver exceptional looks. And it couldn’t be otherwise. Whether they’re attending fashion events, strutting down the red carpet, or simply posing for the internet, they will always ace the style game. Celebrating Thailand’s sartorial excellence, EnVi rounds up some of the most compelling looks by Thai stars in 2023 — so far.

Nattawin Wattanagitiphat in Dior

Kinn Porsche’s leading man, Nattawin Wattanagitiphat — also known as Apo — has become a fixture at every Dior event. Traveling around the world to attend store openings, fashion shows, and other activities, the actor has sported plenty of noteworthy looks. It was at Dior’s Mumbai show, however, that the Thai icon turned heads in a dark suit featuring a double-breasted blazer and relaxed-fit trousers. The ensemble was smartly paired with a second skin top that offered a modern twist to an otherwise classic look.

MATCHA in Paco Rabanne

With an enviable wardrobe that mingles brands like Prada, LOEWE, House Of CB and Jean Paul Gaultier, Thai-Swiss singer MATCHA (Matcha Mosimann) has crafted a distinguishable Y2K style. Corsets, micro skirts, low-rise pieces, and matching sets are often featured in her music videos and Instagram feed. In fact, in the video clip of her latest single, “Closer,” MATCHA sports a two-piece ensemble by Paco Rabanne. The outfit — a hooded crop top and matching micro skirt — was paired with metallic makeup and a matching manicure.

Dew Jirawat in Louis Vuitton

Actor Dew Jirawat is a go-to endorser of brands like Armani, Gucci, Fendi, and more. In the role, the F4 Thailand star was present at the launch of Louis Vuitton’s SS23 Menswear collection in the LV store in Siam Paragon. Dew rocked a streetwear-infused look: black pants, a black T-shirt, and a fleece trucker jacket with comic motifs. To upgrade the ensemble, the actor accessorized with a gray Cruiser Messenger bag and a pair of adorned LV Trainers.

Lisa in CELINE

Much can be said about Lisa Manobal’s fashion exploits. BLACKPINK member, CELINE brand ambassador, and all-around style icon, the Thai singer is always gorgeously in trend. During a visit to Paris earlier this year, Lisa proved to be CELINE’s ultimate it girl, dressed in a little black dress over a white crop top. The “Money” singer matched the look with an oversized bomber jacket and added a dash of cuteness with a hair bow adorning a half-up, half-down hairstyle.

Ten in Saint Laurent

Thai K-pop stars are not only making their presence felt in the music industry. They’re also taking over the front rows at fashion shows. And NCT’s Ten is no exception. Following his bandmates’ Fashion Week appearances in Milan and New York, the singer traveled to Paris to attend Saint Laurent’s FW23 menswear show. After the event, Ten shared pictures of his Parisian adventure, donning a V-neckline velvet shirt, black flared pants, and boots. Needless to say, the K-pop idol perfectly channeled Saint Laurent’s classy, but edgy aesthetics.

Win Metawin in Prada

Trust Prada’s Darling and brand ambassador, Win Metawin to make a fashion statement sporting looks by the Italian brand. The actor makes headlines every time he attends the luxury label’s shows, but even his casual Instagram posts are a display of his impeccable style. To promote Prada’s The Symbole bag, the megastar put on a classy everyday look featuring mohair wool trousers, a black turtleneck, and a beige blouson jacket. Topping the outfit was a matching overcoat, a pair of leather boots, and a large Prada Symbole tote bag

Kimberley Anne Woltemas in Christopher Esber

Often spotted on the front rows of fashion and jewelry shows, Kimberley Anne Woltemas is another regular at luxury events. Earlier this year, the star took the cut-out trend to Paris in a multi-gather dress by the Australian designer Christopher Esber. The trendy item incorporated cut-out details at the front, accentuated by brass crystal hardware. The actress matched the total black look with an effortless half updo, letting the rest of her hair fall in soft waves.

Bright Vachirawit in Burberry

There’s not a time Bright Vachirawit is not dressed in perfectly-styled outfits. However, since his appointment as Burberry’s ambassador, the Thai actor has been serving the best Englishman looks. In a recent Instagram post, the star offered a throwback to his visit to London during Fashion Week. Clad in a classic Burberry trench coat worn atop a white T-shirt and black trousers, the actor channeled British elegance like no other.

With a thriving entertainment industry and plenty of talented figures amassing international followings, Thailand is shaping up to be one of the most important fashion hubs in Asia. So far, Thai celebrities are proving to have what it takes to make it big in the fashion scene. As these celebs continue to find success as brand ambassadors, models, and recurrent endorsers of the biggest fashion houses in the world, fans of Thai entertainment can anticipate more stylish looks from their favorite stars.
