The last days of 2023 are officially underway, but that doesn’t mean the fashion world is slowing down. Quite the opposite. With award ceremonies, fashion shows and even off-duty winter getaways; stylish celebrity sightings are at an all-time high.

This week, the common thread connecting the best-dressed was a masterful display of occasion-appropriateness. Many might’ve opted for black looks, but context was important. Ester Expósito attended the GQ Men of the Year Awards in Spain clad in an edgy mix of leather and sheer while Dua Lipa made a case for holiday-friendly black outfits. Elsewhere, Stray Kids’ Felix reprised cool leather dressing to attend Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Fall show and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo offered winter chic in a long leather coat.

Yeonjun’s Classic Suiting

Fragrance brand Fueguia 1933 inaugurated its flagship store in Seoul on December 1. K-pop star Yeonjun (member of TXT) was in attendance to celebrate this new chapter for the South American brand. The “Chasing That Feeling” singer looked dashing, dressed in a double-breasted jacket with satin lapels, a crisp white shirt and slim-fit trousers. The look was as elegant as it seemed fitting for the occasion and if we go by the praises online, Yeonjun’s fans seem to agree.

Pia Wurtzbach’s Michael Cinco Gown

Miss Universe 2015, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, is no stranger to flaunting couture creations. As one of the world’s most prominent fashionistas, the Filipina model and personality has a well-documented style book that includes designs by the world’s biggest fashion brands. In one of her most recent style exploits, Pia stunned in a blue Michael Cinco gown. The dress featured a sweetheart neckline, a long voluminous skirt and a flattering high slit. The look was gorgeously styled with Bulgari jewelry and her long hair freely falling over her shoulders.

And yes, we can’t stop thinking about it!

Saint Levant’s MOTY Look

Awarded Man of the Year by GQ France; Palestinian-French singer Saint Levant made a style statement on the red carpet. The star arrived at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris by the arm of his mother and paid homage to his Palestinian roots with his look. The “Very Few Friends” singer sported a black suit paired with a white shirt, a bowtie and platform loafers. The accent came courtesy of a keffiyeh scarf that he proudly wore to honor his Palestinian heritage. Truly, the one and only Man of the Year!

Dua Lipa’ Winter Coat

Stepping out in the City That Never Sleeps, British superstar Dua Lipa offered a lesson on holiday fashion. The singer graced the streets of New York in a sheer dress — a nod at the naked dress trend — that she turned into a winter-friendly look with a faux fur coat by Entire Studios. To further push the dark winter aesthetics, Dua Lipa accessorized with black boots and a patent leather clutch. Trés chic!

Ester Expósito’s Matrix Glam

Matrix-inspired style has been a fixture in fashion throughout the years. Every winter, there’s a downpouring of magazine headlines referencing the style associated with the movie  — namely, floor-length leather coats, ‘90s tiny sunglasses and avant-garde-infused looks. This year is no different and Spanish actress Ester Expósito made a case for Matrix fashion on the red carpet of the GQ Men of the Year Awards in Spain.

The star ditched blonde hair and underwent a striking makeover to receive the Woman of the Year Award. Flaunting her newly debuted dark hair, Ester wore a sheer dress, a leather jacket and tiny frames. To match the bold outfit, the actress also sported a red lip and a wet hair look. Yes, we loved the fashion, but to be honest, we loved her speech advocating for women even more.

Davika’s Take on Winter Wonderland

No week goes by without fashion trailblazer Davika Hoorne delivering a swoon-worthy look. The Thai actress has the world so accustomed to her displays of fashion prowess that more often than not, we can’t keep up with her style exploits. This week, however, the superstar had all eyes on her at the opening of Bulgari’s festive display, “Magnificent Wonders,” at Siam Paragon.

The actress opted for an ivory silk dress and origami shawl by the Saudi designer Mohammed Ashi. As one of Bulgari’s most prominent ambassadors, Davika couldn’t miss out on the chance to complement her look with Bulgari staples, including a Serpenti necklace and a bangle cuff bracelet. She looked incredibly sleek and the look ultimately gave off Winter Wonderland energy in the best of the ways.

Jisoo’s Winter Chic Fit

For those in the know, Jisoo’s wardrobe is the ultimate barometer of trends. The singer is always updated on the styles worth trying and her most recent Instagram post is proof of it. In the carousel of pictures, Jisoo offers insights into this winter season’s must-haves: a long leather trenchcoat, a black turtleneck and flared pants.

This style formula is simple: upgrading a minimal look (white pants and black turtleneck) with a statement piece and then accessorize to your heart’s content. As a Dior and Cartier ambassador, Jisoo can never go wrong when it comes to accessories, but this time she opted for a CD Signature Oval Camera Bag and the quirky Crash watch. So tasteful!

Wonyoung’s Barbiecore Get-Up

Barbiecore dominated a good part of 2023, so it comes as no surprise that K-pop star Wonyoung tapped into the trend before the end of the year. The IVE member embraced hyperfeminine aesthetics to attend her ambassador duties for the beauty brand Amuse.

Wonyoung leaned into the matching trend with a baby pink set consisting of a cropped cardigan and a pleated skirt from Self Portrait. The outfit also featured high-knee socks, platform loafers, and the cutest (and trendiest) accessories: a hairpin and bow-shaped earrings. Barbie in the real world? That’s impossible!

Felix’s Reprisal of Leather

We might have gotten used to seeing Stray Kids’ Felix rock leather outfits, but that doesn’t mean his looks have gotten outdated. Quite the opposite. Felix flexed his ability to reinvent leather dressing at the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall show in Hong Kong.

The K-pop rapper attended the event as Louis Vuitton’s ambassador so, of course, he opted for a fashionable get-up. And since leather and monochrome fashion are trending now (according to Data but Make it Fashion, leather searches have gone up 67% since the last fashion season), he obviously went for a total black ensemble.

The look paired straight pants with a biker jacket and chunky sole boots, bringing bikercore back into style. To tie it all together, Felix sported a slicked-back hairstyle and accessorized with gold-accented jewelry. Everybody, say “Thanks Felix” for the lessons on leather styling!

Win Metawin

As one of the most coveted Thai stars in the biz, there’s not a time Thai actor Win Metawin doesn’t dress the part. In one of his most recent public appearances at the opening of The Emsphere, the megastar stunned in a vintage Prada item. The piece in question was a fur coat that Win layered over a tank top and an aqua-toned leather suit. As per eagle-eyed internauts, the actor’s chic coat belonged to Prada’s Fall Winter 1989 collection, which makes it a rare archival piece.

To further level up the hyper-chic ensemble, Win sported jewelry pieces from Tiffany & Co. including a necklace from the Tiffany HardWear collection and a Tiffany T bangle. In case anyone was wondering, no, Win never disappoints.

This year is soon coming to an end. Don’t miss out on EnVi’s style coverage and keep an eye on our weekly roundups.
