EVNNE pulled out all the stops for the final show of their highly-anticipated “Set N Go” tour at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City.

Formed in 2023 through the Mnet survival show Boys Planet, EVNNE have since carved out their own identity in the K-pop scene. Fast forward to 2025 and the seven-member group continues to prove their staying power, meeting fans (aka ENNVE) with intensity, charisma, and show-stopping choreography. EVNNE’s show featured a well-rounded setlist that spanned their discography, including fan favorites like “TROUBLE” and left no doubt that this group knows how to leave a mark.

ENERGY LEVELS

From the second fans began filing into the venue — some even leaning over the second-floor balcony for a better view — the energy was palpable. The moment the lights dimmed and the first notes of “UGLY” dropped, fans erupted in cheers loud enough to shake the floor.

Despite it being a Sunday night, not a single person in the crowd was holding back. From passionate fanchants to nearly out-singing the group during key choruses, ENNVE showed up and showed out. While seeing a sea of fans standing still with phones capturing every moment is typical, it was refreshing to see the crowd keep up with the group as they jumped and danced until the very end.

EVNNE didn’t slow down either. Members like Hanbin took the opportunity to greet fans up close, causing at least one person in particular to nearly collapse from the sheer shock of his visuals (honestly, real for that).

And just when you thought the night might be winding down, EVNNE shattered expectations with seven encore songs — far beyond their typical two.

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES

TROUBLE: EVNNE wasted no time and started off strong with their explosive debut track “TROUBLE.” Hard-hitting choreography, flawless formations, and undeniable confidence set the tone for the rest of the night. Fans screamed along to the bridge with shouts of “slay it!” and “shake it!” ringing out in unison.

CROWN: Midway through their set, the energy spiked again with “CROWN” off their HOT MESS album. Hanbin, rocking a man bun, playfully lifted his jersey mid-performance, which instantly sent the crowd into chaos. Later teased by the members for his spontaneous body waves, he joked, “Since we’re here in Jersey City, I had to show some American dance.”

Birthday: The group switched gears for their dreamy ballad “Birthday,” letting their vocals shine through. With mics turned up high and harmonies blending seamlessly, it was Seungeon’s final high notes that truly brought the moment home.

How Can I Do: One of the most infectious moments came during “How Can I Do,” complete with a full-group fanchant that had the entire venue shouting each member’s name. Dressed in racecar driver-themed outfits, the boys delivered retro ’90s boyband vibes complete with synchronized moves and confident flair.

HIGH NOTES

What truly set this show apart was the clearly deep connection between EVNNE and their fans. After performing their self-written track “JUKEBOX,” the group asked who was seeing them live for the first time. A roar of cheers confirmed just how many new memories were being made that night.

The group’s heartfelt ments gave fans a peek into their U.S. tour experiences, from local food recs like Wawa to watching their first American baseball game. Jihoo and Jeonghyeon confessed they rooted for both teams, much to the audience’s amusement.

During a wardrobe change, the remaining members (Keita, Seungeon, Yunseo, and Jihoo) picked up some unexpected American slang. Fans taught them the term “clock it” — which led to hilarious confusion with “ate.” They eventually got it right and taught the phrase to the rest of the members as they returned to the stage.

As if the chaos wasn’t fun enough, the group spontaneously asked if it was anyone’s birthday. The audience erupted with enthusiastic pointing and cheering, leading EVNNE to break into an impromptu version of “Happy Birthday” and jokingly singing “Happy birthday to somebody” toward the end. Moments like these made the show feel less like a performance and more like a party between close friends.

VERDICT

From their vibrant VCR visuals serving “Fast and Furious” energy to their flawless vocals and chaotic group chemistry, EVNNE have made it clear they’re a force to be reckoned with. Their bond with ENNVE is undeniable, and their dedication to putting on a memorable show goes far beyond the stage.
