Kicking off Fashion Month on a high note, the first week of September brought a plethora of stylish stars to the world’s major fashion hubs. In Seoul, Thailand, and Singapore, pop-up inaugurations, exhibitions, and itinerant parties gathered anyone who’s anyone in fashion and entertainment. Meanwhile, in New York, Fashion Week opened up with a slew of events, runways, and, of course, notable guestlists to match.

Who stood out the most among the sea of well-dressed celebrities? Those who flaunted their individuality and ability to adapt to the occasion. Scroll down to see this week’s best looks, from Win Metawin and Cha Eunwoo’s take on menswear to Rosé’s feminine spin on the classic white gown.

The Best Party Look

Celebrating the extension of its Lab-Grown Diamond offering, jewelry maker Pandora hosted a party in New York on September 6. As a newly appointed brand ambassador, Emily in Paris star, Ashley Park, couldn’t miss out on the event. The actress rocked the most party-appropriate look: a green sequined dress and black high-knee boots. Ashley topped off the ensemble with silver accessories and diamonds — courtesy of Pandora, naturally. To add a trendy factor to the look, the star’s hairstyling team adorned her braided ponytail with a large bow that matched the embellishments in her dress. With fall fast approaching, the hair look gave us plenty of inspiration on how to sport the bow trend. Loves it.

The Most Art Appropriate

Bottega Veneta and Korean artist Suki Seokyeong Kang held an exhibition at the Leeum Museum of Art. Among the VIP guests, BTS’ self-proclaimed art aficionado, RM, attracted a great deal of attention. The superstar attended the event dressed in a casual, yet totally stylish look that featured a travertine green shirt, leather pants, and chunky-sole shoes. As a Bottega brand ambassador, RM surprised nobody by opting for an understated and chic look. Nevertheless, his occasion-appropriate outfit is still commendable and made a case for leather as a transitional wardrobe staple.

The Best In-Sync Looks

Reuniting stars and fashion professionals from around the world, American brand Coach presented their Spring Summer 2024 collection off-calendar. The show was highly anticipated as it marked creative director Stuart Vevers’s tenth anniversary. For the occasion, several A-listers sat front row, including Jennifer López and Lil Nas X. However, Thai stars Nychaa (Nuttanicha Dungwattanawanich) and Blue (Pongtiwat Tangwancharoen) didn’t go unnoticed. The pair stepped out dressed in leather jackets and carrying Coach signature bags such as the Heart Bag and the Tabby Shoulder Bag. Perfectly embodying the spirit of the brand, both stars stood next to each other in total sync. Stylish x2!

The Best All-Black Fit

Thai Actress Chanikarn Tangkabodeel, otherwise known as Prim, offered a lesson on how to style transitional looks. Attending the opening of Givenchy’s store at Paragon Shopping Center in Singapore, the star wore a sheer minidress with a trail underneath a wool oversized jacket. Adding a dash of grunge to the total-back outfit, Prim accessorized with combat boots and a Voyou Party bag. The actress matched her fit with a heavy-eyeliner look and sported a brand logo in her manicure, proving to be a Givenchy girl from head to toe.

The Best Jewelry

French jeweler Chaumet inaugurated a pop-up boutique at ION Orchard on September 5. Friend of the House, South Korean actor Cha Eun Woo, brough the it-factor to the opening with a chic black suit and ribbed white top. The pièce de résistance was, of course, the jewelry that accompanied the look. Taken from Chaumet’s Bee My Love collection, the stand-out items were a pair of gold and diamond necklaces, matching rings, a bracelet, and an Abeille brooch. He showed up and showed out!

The Best Y2K

Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara attended the Omega European Masters golf competition in Crans-Montana and took a dose of Y2K dressing to the course. Clad in a pink matching set from Courrèges and 2000s-inspired sports sunglasses, the star demonstrated that the noughties revival is still going strong. Kiko further showcased the allure of Y2K fashion with a pair of silver sneakers. The model also wore a silver Omega watch and a pearl necklace for contrast. Talk about an absolute hit…

The Coziest Sweaters

With September in full swing, several fashion houses are focused on promoting their Fall-Winter offerings. Dior is no exception and enlisted the help of brand ambassadors Apo and Mile to model looks from the Dior Winter 2023 collection. The Thai leading men took to Instagram to share the outfits, which featured cozy sweaters, cotton shirts, and the iconic Dior Saddle Bag. To finish off the looks, each of them put a personal spin, opting for pleated kilt shorts and wide-leg pants, respectively. Ten out of ten.

The Best Gown

BLACKPINK’s Rosé had quite a busy and equally stylish week between attending brand events, fronting RIMOWA’S latest campaign, and jetsetting around fashion capitals. While every look she sported was outstanding, her pick for the launch of Sulwhasoo’s newest line takes the crown. The white gown featured an off-the-shoulder draped bodice with a light-fabric skirt cascading down the floor. Complemented by au naturel glam, the look epitomized the classic elegance and effortless beauty that Rosé is known for. A-plus mark!

The Best Suiting

Always at the forefront of fashion, Thai actor Win Metawin traveled to Seoul for the latest iteration of Prada Mode. The event was a showcase of Prada’s cultural capital in Asia, but the Thai star surely stood out with his take on suiting: a monochromatic ensemble taken straight from Prada’s FW23 Men’s collection and accentuated with a faux oversized collar. Although the same suit has been previously worn by several A-listers, Win bestowed the outfit a refined, youthful edge, proving his ability to reinvent and give new life to any look. As one of Prada’s most prominent brand ambassadors, we couldn’t have expected anything else from him!

With Fashion Month underway, this is just a small selection of standout looks from Asian stars. Don’t forget to share your favorite outfits of the week on socials and keep an eye on our weekly recap!
