After a two-year hiatus from their last North American tour, K-pop girl group STAYC made a highly anticipated return to Los Angeles with their new “STAY TUNED” tour. On October 7, the six-member group — composed of Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J — lit up YouTube Theater’s stage with a dynamic setlist featuring many of their hit singles, including tracks from their latest studio album, Metamorphic.

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES

Even before STAYC took the stage, the anticipatory excitement from their fans, SWITH, buzzed through every corner of the venue. When red lights illuminated the stage and the members’ silhouettes appeared, the crowd erupted in thunderous joy. Opening with the high-energy trio of “BEBE,” “1 Thing,” and “Poppy,” STAYC immediately set the tone for an electrifying night, proving from the first beat and choreographies that the rest of the show would be nothing short of unforgettable.

Sentimental Moments: As the mic stands emerged and a moody spotlight washed over the stage, the atmosphere shifted. Aligned in soft pastel hues, STAYC delivered “Young Luv” with soaring, resonant vocals that carried throughout the venue. Even for those unfamiliar with the lyrics, their heartfelt performance carried a deep sense of reflection — a testament to both their vocal mastery and their ability to make every listener feel the emotion behind each note.

During “Meant To Be,” STAYC invited the audience to turn on their phone flashlights, transforming the theater into a sea of glowing lights that swayed to the song’s hopeful melody. From the stage, the girls remarked that the shimmering scene made the crowd look like stars. Fans burst into cheers when STAYC playfully asked if the feeling was mutual — if they, too, appeared like stars in the eyes of SWITHs.

Music transcends age, and STAYC’s performance of “Twenty” made that sentiment come alive. Their impassioned vocals created a moving reminder to embrace each new chapter of life, no matter where you are on the journey.

A Fun Time: From the midway point to the finale, STAYC kept the momentum high with a nonstop lineup of fun, high-energy songs. “I Want It” radiated summer vibes with its upbeat rhythm and beach-themed visuals, while “Bubble” turned the venue into a playful scene as bubble machines filled the air above jumping fans. The energy continued to peak during “Trouble Maker,” when the crowd joined in unison for the chant of “Ooh wee!” And the screams reached their loudest during “ASAP,” which was no surprise, given how catchy and trendy its choreography had been.

HIGH NOTES

As a whole, STAYC demonstrated their ability to command the stage with flawless synchronization, blending their vocals, dance, and presence into powerful performances. Yet, when the spotlight shifted to their smaller unit and solo stages, each member’s unique charm and artistry shone through, revealing the depth of talent within the group. Following “Cheeky Icy Thang,” Sieun, Seeun, and J reemerged in pastel ensembles to perform “Find,” a track that blends soft harmonies with an empowering message of self-confidence. In contrast, Isa sang “Roses” in a pink gown, a rose tucked in her hair, and a single chair as her prop, delivering a slower-paced, alluring performance that exuded assurance. While Sumin and Yoon’s duet of “Fakin’” highlighted emotional vocal delivery that conveyed the song’s theme of overcoming inner struggles.
