This season, EnVi unleashed a small battalion of photographers onto the streets of New York City. Armed only with a camera and their best attempts at comfortable footwear, our photographers hit up over twenty five different shows from entrances to backstage.
Weโve panned through their thousands of photos and sifted out the gold: the trends we think are about to define 2026.
โจ warm toned greens โจ
Green is an ever popular staple, a safe midway between color and neutral often serving as navyโs slightly more exciting cousin.
Moving beyond the jewel-toned emeralds that defined the 2010โs, this season saw a boom in warmer, yellower greens. Think moss, sage, olive, chartreuse, hunter. If your library of greens reads like the attendance sheet of a yuppy Brooklyn day school, youโre headed in the right direction.

โจ ties โจ
Business casual gets a trendy boost this season, with ties being used in refreshing patterns, textiles, and styling as a way to infuse some fun into a stereotypically stuffy accessory.
Might be time to raid your dadโs closet and serve some true corpcore.

โจ PRIZE RIBBONS โจ
As bows become more complex, bag charms get bigger, and western-wear veers into county fair territory, prize ribbons sit neatly in the middle of that triple Venn diagram.ย
Everyone at fashion week loves to feel special, and now you can do that and be trendy (and let everyone know when itโs your birthday).

โจ POLKA Dots โจ
Seeing spots? No, itโs not the side effects of standing up too quickly on an iced-coffee-only breakfast: polka dots are back with a vengeance. But fear not to those scarred by the brown and teal dots of our teenage years – these polka dots have grown up with us. In more muted palettes like navy, tan, or classic black and white, these dots give a look some pop without leaving you dizzy.

โจ sailor-core โจ
Cowboys, fairies, cottages, and other soft-girl Tumblr aesthetics have had their time to shine, but now itโs time to roleplay a sickly, subservient Victorian school boy. Find yourself a jaunty little hat, stock up on citrus fruits, and ask your father if he could spare some more gruel, as youโll need it for your high seas adventures (the Staten Island Ferry).

โจ pops of orange โจ
In a play-it-safe season heavily defined by earthier tones and neutral palettes, these vibrant orange moments have served as a welcome pop of color.
Orange hasnโt gotten a lot of love lately (perhaps for fair reasons), but weโre here for its renaissance.

โจ suede โจ
In what feels like a natural evolution of the western-wear trend, suede was a frequent flyer this season.
Softer and gentler than leather but more refined than denim and a little edgier than silk or linen, suede is a versatile player that provides texture and variety. With monochrome styling also rising in popularity, suede changes up texture without overpowering the main effect of the look.

โจ monochrome merlot โจ
Red has been showing up as an accent color in previous seasons, but this one saw it take center stage. Deep, romantic reds have presented a fresh take on monochromatic styling, showing that one color doesnโt have to mean one-note.

โจ oversize bags โจ
The girls are seemingly tired of cramming their everyday necessities into bite-sized bags. Going from one extreme to another, this season’s bags commanded both attention and space.
Now you can bring your water bottle, umbrella, spare change of shoes, and laptop wherever you go, and even have room for a snack (or several).

โจ ringscapes โจ
Hands can say a lot about a person, and this season the guestsโ hands were saying a whole lot. Playing with amount, size, shape, and style, layers of rings were used to create entire landscapes across both hands. From sleek and silvery to chunky and colorful, ringscapes are a trend easily translated across aesthetics.

โจ plush charms โจ
Say la-bye-bye to acrylic keychains and beaded bag charms, this season is all about the soft and cuddly, like Jellycat and Labubu. Turns out keychains need a little more layers in the fall, too.

โจ paillettes โจ
Welcome back 2000s โ but this time, instead of shapeless sack bags, paillettes are being featured in full length dresses, skirts, and wraps.

โจ zebra print โจ
Lions may be kings of the savannah (and cheetahs the king of the fast fashion e-tail store), but this season zebra print reigned supreme.
Bold zebra print takes a neutral palette and makes it pretty hard to miss.

โจ warm browns โจ
No one can ever truly dethrone black as the true queen of neutrals, but this season a host of deep, smooth browns have wagered a healthy claim to the crown.
Keeping up with a growing trend of natural, earthly color palettes, the use of browns is a fitting one.

โจ fur โจ
An ever reliable texture, fur is no stranger to fashion week. But usually, itโs seen in the fall collections. This season saw its application, yes, in coats, but also beyond that. Hats, bodysuits, and bags all got a fuzzy upgrade.

โจ string-ties โจ
This season had a lot of confidence in ties, ribbons and strings. Open backs are provocative enough, but add in a top that is only held up by a singular, criss-crossing piece of string and it goes from bold to truly daring. Not for the faint of heart (or large of chest), but definitely cool.
