To celebrate its arrival, Gelap Ruang Jiwa presents an immersive installation in PILLAR, designing a space that embodies the Gelap Ruang Jiwa’s spirit and identity.

Dark Yet Alluring: Gelap Ruang Jiwa

Originating from Bandung, Indonesia, Gelap Ruang Jiwa has officially made its debut at PILLAR, the creatively-driven fashion destination located in Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta. This contemporary artisanal jewelry brand turns abstract shapes, textures, and emotions into wearable works of art through a unique visual and poetic lens. Known for their dark, melancholic aesthetic, the pieces each tell a powerful story rooted in identity and cultural heritage. Inspired by the world around us, Gelap Ruang Jiwa employs innovative and experimental techniques, including the use of repurposed and recycled materials, to create timeless jewelry with deep meaning. More than just accessories, their pieces are expressions of emotion, sustainability, and craftsmanship.

On display until May 14, the installation brings Gelap Ruang Jiwa’s dark and captivating aesthetic to life, offering visitors a deeper insight into the story and craftsmanship behind each piece. Within the space, a curated selection of the brand’s jewelry is available for customers to try on and experience firsthand — allowing them to explore the textures, forms, and distinctive design language that define Gelap Ruang Jiwa.

Introducing Belenggu and Relung

For this initial release, select pieces from Gelap Ruang Jiwa’s latest Belenggu collection, as well as the Relung collection — previously showcased at Jakarta Fashion Week 2025 — will be available in limited quantities, with certain items offered exclusively at PILLAR. The collection includes earrings, brooches, chokers, and rings, all embodying the brand’s signature aesthetic. Timeless and versatile, these pieces are designed to be worn across a range of occasions.
