Austin Post, known by his stage name Post Malone, joined forces with Western lifestyle brand Stetson and Dallas-based label Trve Brand for a collaborative hat drop. The limited-edition piece was released for purchase exclusively on True Brvnd’s website on June 14. Post Malone furthers his venture into the country genre with this new collaboration. 

The Stetson Hat

As seen on his Instagram feed, Post Malone is a long-time fan and wearer of both the Stetson brand and True Brvnd’s caps — the singer even wore True Brvnd’s signature upside-down Dallas hat as he prepared for his performance of “America the Beautiful” at the 2024 Super Bowl LVIII.

In recent months, Post Malone has undergone a complete transformation as he delved into his Texas-based upbringing and the country genre. In addition to collaborating with country icon Blake Shelton and Morgan Wallen on songs and live performances, the star announced the release of his first country record: F-1 Trillion.

Both Stetson and True Brvnd celebrate Western heritage and craftsmanship in their pieces. The brands’ emphasis on self-expression and individuality seamlessly aligns with Post Malone’s newfound mission to explore his artistic potential through a new avenue. The Post Malone x Stetson x True Brvnd hat is priced at $65 and comes in a gray/navy colorway and features upside-down Stetson embroidery and polyester mesh. 

The new collaboration also represents a strategic step forward for the Stetson team. “We’re thrilled to kick off our ongoing partnership with Post Malone with this collaboration,” Stetson’s chief executive officer, Robert Dundon, shared in a press release. “The partnership represents the next chapter in our ongoing strategy of attracting and engaging younger consumers, while also reinforcing the enduring values and timelessness of the Stetson brand.”
