Through a genuine approach, RINI offers consolation to listeners who may be dealing with similar downcast experiences. Further substantiating his self-awareness, he recognizes that the little things matter the most: โ€œLately Iโ€™ve been losing sight of our love / All the things that matter to you most (Matter to me most).โ€ The music video, by Dean Bradshaw and Tara Nichols, amplifies the feelings of self-reflection as RINI enters a state of catharsis. With only a guitar to keep him company, he performs โ€œMatter To Youโ€ wholeheartedly, ending with a full release of any repressed emotions.

MANJA – โ€œMy Oh Myโ€

Letโ€™s dance around town and toss our worries away to MANJAโ€™s celebratory anthem โ€œMy Oh My.โ€ Diving into the discussion of life and identity, the Bali, Indonesia-based alternative pop-rock band invites listeners to embark on a self-discovering journey as they celebrate the joys of life. Born from anger and disillusionment, “My Oh My” reflects on meaningful connections, urging listeners to pause and ruminate about what truly matters in life. Reflective of modern societies’ materialistic obsessions and gluttony for momentary fame, James Sukadana (Vocalist) and brothers Nick Pratama (Guitar) and Mark Saputra (Keyboard) encourage listeners to pursue dreams bigger than themselves.

As per a press statement, MANJA were personally troubled by the cultural shift overtaking their surroundings. They expressed their acknowledgement of widespread rapid development, despite their dissatisfaction towards the loss following it. “I understand that change is inevitable, but I hope the song can remind people that we can choose which changes are beneficial for us, both as individuals and as a community,” Sukadana explained. The buoyant track highlights the bandโ€™s signature sound while seamlessly mixing in the rich sound of Indonesia. In addition to the exquisite harmonization between an ensemble of percussion and fluid chord progression, โ€œMy Oh Myโ€ crafts an emotive narrative. The story plays out in lyrics such as, โ€œLook around, / All we have is one another / Look inside, / See the gifts we have to offer / Take the chance, / Let’s not wait til kingdom come cos / Here we are, / Right in front of heaven’s gate and / One day we’ll share the throne!โ€

The production process was led by renowned Indonesian drummer Brian Kresna Putro, who also worked on the band’s 2023 single “Last Night’s Kiss.” The stunning and adventurous music video was directed by Thai director Khamkwan and shot two hours away from Bangkok, Thailand, marking the band’s first work with an international production house. The fun film follows the band with a trio of friends exploring a mountain as they happily bask in one anotherโ€™s presence.
