When she isn’t rocking the stage or the big screens, Jisoo of BLACKPINK is partnering up with the biggest apparel brands. The world-renowned singer and actress is the new face of Alo Yoga’s Spring 2024 collection. On January 17, the brand revealed images featuring the K-pop star, teasing the release of everyday athleisure and sporty styles. In her first official campaign with Alo Yoga, Jisoo shows that health and wellness can go hand in hand with comfort and style.

The Collection

Featuring 25 pieces, Alo Yoga’s newest collection displays the brand’s commitment to fashionable athleisure. Jisoo seamlessly blends her personal style and comfortable everyday wear across a series of campaign photos.

Standout pieces from the collection include the best-selling Snomoto Puffer Jacket, the Airbrush Real Bra Tank and matching ⅞ High-Waist Airbrush Legging, as well as joggers, sneakers and crewnecks. Another notable ensemble is a pink and black set that features the Airlift Line Up Bra and Airlift High-Waist ⅞ Line Up Legging. Made with lightweight, fully non-transparent and cool touch fabric, the Airlift design perfectly complements high-intensity workouts.

Additionally, sporty add-ons like the Throwback Crew Socks and Alo Off-Duty Cap will upgrade any Alo-powered outfit.

With this campaign, Alo also commemorates the release of the Alo X 01 Classic in a limited edition pink and white colorway — the first of its kind to be engineered for performance recovery. The secret of the iconic unisex shoe lies within the extra bounce from the soles, providing balance and support for pressure points along the body. Offering a modern, streetwear look, the unique style can be paired with sportswear or on-the-go casual wear.

Alo’s Spring line also offers crop tops and tennis skirts, adding ways to mix and match the collection. Additional items such as the Snomoto Puffer Mini Skirt — which is lightly filled to add a touch of warmth without bulkiness — are set for release in late January.

Jisoo x Alo

Jisoo and Alo have teased their collaboration since the fall of 2023 when the idol uploaded a series of photos featuring pieces of the collection. In fact, in an Instagram post from November, Jisoo showed off the new pink Alo X 01 Classics and pastel pink crew socks.

“This partnership with Alo felt like the perfect match because my health and wellness has always been a priority for me,” the K-pop star shared in the official announcement. “I love to move whenever I have the time, especially with Yoga Pilates.”

Alo Yoga has previously been worn by international stars like Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber. The brand’s wide range of comfortable offerings, which accommodates various active lifestyles, explains its popularity among A-listers. Now, with Jisoo’s stamp of approval, Alo continues to gain momentum.

Software and data company Launchmetrics, which specializes in the Fashion, Lifestyle and Beauty (FLB) market, recently reported that Alo’s collaboration with Jisoo earned $1.9 million in Media Impact Value™ in the first five days following the brand’s announcement. Jisoo also proved her endorsing power, prompting a spike in Google searches about the brand. Similarly, several Items from the collection quickly sold out upon release.

Fans can look forward to Alo Yoga’s continued collaboration with Jisoo. As per Billboard, the brand has plans to release several drops in collaboration with the multihyphenate star throughout the year.
