Founded by entrepreneur Tamara Bakir, Manifest Beauty is a clean, vegan and cruelty-free beauty brand rooted in self-empowerment and self-love. The brand’s star product, the Chili-Infused Lip Plumping Oil, has quickly become a must-have among beauty enthusiasts and is changing the lip-plumping market with its non-toxic, vegan formula.

In addition to offering clean and ethical products, Manifest Beauty gives 3% of their net sales to the Look Good, Feel Better initiative, which helps people with cancer deal with the appearance side effects of cancer treatment.

essence is a woman-founded brand that launched in Germany in 2002 and has since expanded to more than 50 countries. The brand is recognized for its affordable, cruelty-free products manufactured in Europe — 95% of the production takes place in the continent.

Huda Beauty

Huda Beauty is a makeup brand founded by the Iraqi-American Huda Kattan. Known for its highly pigmented and diverse makeup products, Huda is one of the most influential beauty brands in the market. In fact, according to Launchmetrics, the brand is among the Leading Makeup Brands of 2023 and has so far generated $235 million in Media Impact Value. 

Kattan has actively expressed support for humanitarian causes and in early November she announced a $1 million donation to humanitarian organizations in Gaza (Human Appeal and Doctors Without Borders).

FW Beauty

FW Beauty is a UK-based beauty brand that specializes in luxurious skincare treatments inspired by Ayurvedic and Ancient Chinese remedies. The brand’s formulations use plant-based ingredients, avoiding animal-tested products and favoring in-house, handmade production. In fact, as per its website, FW Beauty handmakes 84% of its products.

Founded by Fatiha Rouf and Yasmine Alom, the brand caters to a wide demographic, including Muslim people looking for halal-friendly beauty. This means, FW Beauty works with ingredients compliant with Islamic law — alcohol and certain animal-derived products are prohibited.

Dirty Lamb

Palestinian American Ahlam Khan’s Dirty Lamb is a vegan and cruelty-free face and body care brand. Inspired by Khan’s upbringing, Dirty Lamb creates handmade gender-inclusive skin care products with ethically sourced ingredients such as Arabic coffee beans, Turkish coffee, organic coconut oil and homegrown fresh mint. 

Aiming for full transparency on the formulations, the brand openly shares the ingredients in its products. “We don’t hide our ingredients so you won’t hide your skin,” they preach. 

Until November 30, the brand is offering up to 40% discounts. During this period, half of Dirty Lamb’s sales proceeds will be donated to humanitarian organizations.

Founded by Latina entrepreneur Nicole Cuervo, Springrose is an intimate apparel brand championing inclusive and innovative designs. Founded by Ranim Taha — an Egyptian woman based in the UK — jewelry brand Kiro celebrates underrepresented Middle Eastern heritage. The brand is best known for its country map necklaces and jewelry that nods at Taha’s Egyptian heritage. On November 20, Kiro released its Keffiyeh collection and announced that 100% of the sales profits would be donated to the Red Crescent organization.
