I mostly do digital art now, but I also do traditional drawings and paintings.
NCT/WayV Inspiration in Art:
The colors in NCT/WayV videos are always stunning. I always get inspired to try out different color combos and use more bright neon colors in my drawings.
What was it like drawing Yangyang for the cover?
It was actually my first time drawing him! I was nervous at first about how he would turn out but I’m very happy with the end result!
What was your reaction when you were asked to draw the cover?
I was SO excited. I definitely squealed a lot haha. It’s truly an amazing opportunity and such an honor!
What inspires your art?
My art is inspired by a lot of things but the main three are color, lyrics, and my mood. If i see colors i like somewhere it makes me want to somehow incorporate it into a drawing. I include a lot of lyrics into my drawings so i try to draw from what the lyrics are saying. If I’m in a happy mood my drawings may be more bright and vibrant or if I’m in a more calm mood i may do something more simple and keep it minimal!
Any advice for up and coming artists?
My advice would be to not be afraid to experiment and try new things! Always challenge yourself. You never know what you may come up with.
