Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW) attracted many with its urban atmosphere and its attendants’ fashion-savvy attires. People flocked to the shows cloaked in their best looks, which included a galore of leather jackets, denim-on-denim ensembles, and stylish shades. Anticipating autumn trends, this season’s street style showcased Scandinavians’ unique brand of cool and served the perfect outfit inspiration for upcoming months. Ahead, EnVi rounds up the best of CPHFW’s street style.

Splashes of Color

Deep orange, cyan blue, and vivid green were some of the bright pops of color dispersed throughout the Scandinavian streets. Despite the chilly weather, Fashion Week guests still flaunted daring colors fit for the summer months. Many of these bright variations took the shape of retro two-piece sets, ruffled dresses, and bomber jackets.

Leather Jackets Galore

Scandinavian fashionistas are already looking forward to the fall season and fittingly, leather jackets were among the hottest items on the streets of Copenhagen Fashion Week. Due to the cold weather, show attendants sported the ultimate fall staple in all forms. To name a few, distressed leather, motorcycle jackets, trench coats, and bomber jackets were the standout styles. Some even chose to make their coats a statement piece by adding utilitarian sherpa fur or rocking eye-catching hues.

Blue Jeans

No one rocks basic wardrobe staples like the Nordic so it is no surprise blue jeans became the foundation of some of the best looks spotted on the streets. To add to the urban atmosphere, attendants opted for denim in all shapes and forms. Tailored blazers, slacks, button-down blouses, and asymmetrical skirts were some of their favorite pieces. A handful of attendees also made a case for the Canadian tuxedo, clad in the trendiest denim-on-denim ensembles.

Chunky Statement Jewelry

Despite the lingering Recession core trend, the fashion moguls of Copenhagen decided to switch things up. Adding an element of glitz and glamour, chunky statement jewelry adorned the necklines and ears of Fashion Week VIPs. Vintage yellow gold hoops and necklaces elevated the casual garments and blended perfectly with the warm color palette of the week. Those who opted for cooler colors donned silver or white gold pieces for that extra touch of luxury.

Stylish Frames

Stylish frames were the finishing touch for the chic street-style ensembles captured in Copenhagen. Sunglasses ranged from classic black to funky orange shades for the utmost autumnal flare. Most frames were rounded and had a slight uptilt to add Scandi cool energy. Even those who wore wire optical frames tailored the glasses to their outfits, wearing 1960s-inspired frames. Others gave their fits a 1990s touch, rocking dark, skinny glasses to spice up their style.
