November 17 marks the birthday of ATEEZ’s fandom, ATINY. The fandom’s name is a combination of the group’s name, ATEEZ, and the word “destiny.” The name signifies that the group’s future and destiny is with their fans. This year, the boy group celebrated ATINY’s third anniversary with a day packed full of events, proving again how much they adore their fans.

A True Surprise

In the days leading up to the anniversary, fans noticed that the group was exceptionally quiet. Many thought this to be suspicious since the boys constantly show their love for the fandom any other day.

It wasn’t until the clock hit midnight in Korea that the group finally acknowledged the anniversary on Twitter.

This was not the end, however, as five minutes later the schedule for ATINY Day dropped and fans were more than overjoyed.

ATINY Day Rundown

After the initial tweet and schedule, the first event began from 9 – 11AM KST. This event was a quiz guide for ATINY on the group’s fancafe. Fans were meant to match the eight emoticons to the eight members. This would give a hint as to what they would be doing in the special video that was going to be released later.

At 11:17 AM KST, the special video was released. 

The video was meant to be from the perspective of an ATINY, going about their day with ATEEZ from the moment they woke up. At the end, the boys sing Happy Birthday to ATINY before telling them that the group had a little present for the fans. This segued into the next event.

Fans were then meant to vote on fancafe for the present, which were two videos. At the end of the voting period, the video that won was of the members dancing to Crazy Frog while filming the Special Video. 

After the vote, ATINY Day Event Two began. Here fans chose the options they preferred on a chart, and the members would later guess what they thought the fandom chose. 

After the event period concluded, the group took to Twitter and held a mention party for an hour. 

At 6 PM KST, the boys finally took to YouTube for a live stream to celebrate ATINY Day. During the stream, they set a table with delicious food and ate while talking about ATINY and what they meant to the group. They also played a series of games, including a bingo game with the chart of ATINY’s responses. The live ended with the group singing Happy Birthday to ATINY yet again, with a cake at the center of the table. 

After the live stream, at 10:24 PM KST, the group posted a series of selfies on fancafe for ATINY as well as some exclusive photos for members of their fancafe at 11:55 PM KST.

The group wrapped up the day with some heartfelt letters they wrote to the fandom at 11:59 PM KST.  

A Happy Day

Throughout the day, ATINYs took to twitter to share their excitement for the various events the group had planned for them as well as their joy for being a part of the fandom.
