In the absence of live concerts, these days consist of longing to relive those moments—singing along to our favorite songs and waving our lightsticks in tandem to the rhythm—all in the hopes of experiencing it again one day soon. As a concert photographer with no concerts to attend, I have often found myself flipping through my past photos, reminiscing fondly about my experiences.

April 24, 2019 marked the first North American stop on NCT 127’s Neo City: The Origin World Tour, held at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. I will never forget the feeling of belongingness when the nine members stepped onto the stage for the first time—nor will I forget how seeing the venue illuminated in green took my breath away. 

I wanted to refresh some of these memories and bring them back through new edits of my photos from that momentous night. Although these photos won’t completely fill the void that live concerts once occupied, I hope it will bring some light and joy until we all can experience concerts with our favorite idols once again.
