5. Recording Diaries

Following the release of Resonance, multiple videos were released on the NCT Daily YouTube channel―highlighting the recording process for some of the songs on the album including, “Work It,” “90’s Love,” “Lightbulb,” “Make A Wish (Birthday Song),” and more! The videos introduce some of the hidden elements that may have been missed, and pieces that were changed in the final production. The dynamics of the members were also put on display, as each unit showed their support for each other by giving feedback and encouragement throughout each video.

Many moments in these videos went viral on Twitter, including Doyoung in the “From Home” recording with “Now I Know.” With almost 2.2 million views, the clip has reached many different communities outside of NCity.

4. KBS Song Festival

KBS Song Festival is an annual music show that airs at the end of every year. The biggest K-pop groups of the year come together to perform their hit songs and also collaborate on special stages. All of NCT were invited and did nothing but impress!

The members of NCT participated in two different collaboration projects for the festival. Mark and Taeyong performed a new song, “Dragon” for a “Special Stage Rap Performance” with Monsta X’s I.M and Joohoney, and Stray Kids’ Bang Chan and Changbin. Shotaro showed off his amazing talents in a cover of GOT7’s “Hard Carry” with Astro’s Moonbin, The Boyz’s Juyeon, and Stray Kids’ Hyunjin in the special “9800 Stage.” NCT 127 also performed their hit song, “Kick It” and NCT 2020 performed “Resonance.”

NCTzens were excited to see the special NCT U stage, in which Sungchan and Taeyong performed a new song called “Class.” The lyrics talk about everything NCT has to offer, and highlight the amazing abilities of each unit in NCT. At the end of the stage, the members get together to perform “Misfit,” showing off their amazing chemistry and pride for NCT.
