The year is soon coming to an end, so galas, award ceremonies and parties are the order of the day. This week, global stars were front and center at all of these high-profile events and as expected, there was no shortage of glamour and sophistication.

Whether they received honors, celebrated important occasions, released new music or mingled with royals, the best-dressed brought back elegance and glitz with gorgeous fashion choices. In England, the members of BLACKPINK stunned in regal gowns attending the South Korean State Banquet at Buckingham Palace. Meanwhile, Asian superstars Bright Vachirawit and Cha Eunwoo proved the timeless allure of the black suit.

Elsewhere, Mexican star Danna Paola made serious fashion statements with the release of her new track “AÚN TE QUIERO.” The cherry on top came courtesy of Turkish actress Hande Erçel, who celebrated her 30th birthday with a look reminiscent of the Jazz Age.

Miley Cyrus’ Take on Birthday Style

“Flower” singer, Miley Cyrus, celebrated her 31st birthday with a special reunion at Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles. For the occasion, the American star put on a glamorous and sultry fit featuring a sheer corset, a pencil skirt and a cropped jacket — all back for added glam. Miley matched the ensemble with a sleek bun and accessorized with a leopard print bag, gloves and a pair of dark sunglasses.

The singer posted several pictures of her look to Instagram and shared a glimpse of her birthday performance. “I performed for MYSELF and sang my favorite songs including my own,” she wrote in the caption. “First “live” performance of Flowers was to an audience full of my friends and family.” We love to see it.

Bow Maylada’s White Swan Fit

Thai model, singer and actress Bow Maylada aced balletcore fashion at the opening of the Roger Viver’s store at Siam Paragon. The star made a stylish statement in a total white look featuring a strapless minidress, white lace thighs and a luxurious pair of Mary Jane shoes. Bow also sported a pearl embroidered headband and a mini bag with finesse.

Embracing the essentials of balletcore style, the look ultimately gave off White Swan vibes and we’re frankly obsessed.

Danna Paola’s Spin on Goth Glam

Mexican singer Danna Paola has grown to become a style icon in Latin America and she’s quickly catching up with the global landscape. On November 23, the multitalented star released her newest single, “AÚN TE QUIERO,” with accompanying concept photos. In the pictures, Danna Paola takes an eerie but glamorous fashion approach with a dramatic black gown, long gloves and a veil. It’s chic, it’s goth, it’s dark, it’s giving Morticiacore in the best of the ways — and we can’t stop gushing about it.

Lola Tung’s Lace Gown

Just like Danna Paola, Lola Tung embodied gothic glamour attending the Dior Carousel of Dreams inauguration at Saks. The Summer I Turned Pretty star opted for a black lace dress from the Dior Spring Summer 2024 collection and fittingly combined it with a sleek hairdo and royal maroon lipstick. The ensemble was enhanced with a quilted bag, pointed heels and Dior Tribales earrings. Tastefully outfitted, Lola made waves online as one of the best-dressed stars at the event, where she shared the spotlight with stars such as Ashley Park and Jennifer Lawrence.

Cha Eunwoo’s Holiday Suit

On the opposite side of the world, South Korean star Cha Eunwoo made the rounds online with his appearance at the Dior Canton Road Flagship Store. The actor turned up to the Cruise collection launch event in a large suit from the Spring 2024 Men’s collection. He matched the dark ensemble with an off-white silk shirt, lace-up boots and a silver belt with winter motifs, perfectly suited for the holiday season. Yes, we approve.

Liu Yifei’s Dazzling Ensembles

On November 16, Chinese actress Liu Yifei made a show-stopping appearance at the premiere of Wish and Disney Animation’s 100th Anniversary in Shanghai. The Mulan star went all out with a gorgeous Tamara Ralph Couture number that was as dreamy as it was occasion-appropriate. The lavender gown featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, a high slit and the most voluminous — and spectacular — skirt.

A few days later, the Chinese icon made another dreamy stop at the Bulgari Mediterranea High Jewelry event. As a brand ambassador, the actress sported a dazzling blue set of jewelry paired with an Elie Saab off-the-shoulder gown with floral motifs. So gorgeous!

BLACKPINK’s Majestic Fashion

This week, another Asian act gracing our social media feeds with stunning fashion was the K-pop group BLACKPINK. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa were invited to the South Korean State Banquet at Buckingham Palace and their looks were majestic, to say the least. Donning creations by Dior, Lihi Hod, Saint Laurent and Georges Hobeika, respectively; the foursome made a splash at the diplomatic event.

Jisoo sported a black dress with a court neckline and puffed sleeves aptly suited for the royal gathering, while Jennie chose a bridal off-the-shoulder dress with long sleeves and a trail.

On the other hand, Rosé wore a black strapless dress and hinted at the balletcore trend, accessorizing with a hair bow. Taking a less conventional route, Lisa donned an aquamarine gown with a trailing cape that she gorgeously styled with a half-up half-down hairstyle.

Flaunting the roles of brand ambassadors to some of the biggest high jewelry powerhouses, the group also put on a luxurious display with pieces from Cartier, Chanel, Tiffany & Co. and Bulgari. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa might not be royals by blood, but they proved to be ruling the fashion realm. Queens!

Bright Vachirawit’s Suiting Formula

As Thai stars continue their rise in the global entertainment scene, Bright Vachirawit set new milestones with his attendance at the Tatler Ball in Macao. Bright was debonair in a classic Burberry suit and slicked-back hair look. As one of the honorees of the night — the actor received the Golden Cane Award — he even had the chance to snap some pictures with British football icon David Beckham.

Days prior, Bright had taken a contrasting approach to suiting at the 2023 MTV VMAJ in Yokohama, Japan. At the event, Bright snatched the Best Asia Celebrity Award — a first for a Thai artist — in a colorful Glen plaid suit. Now, that’s what we call a wide fashion range!

Hande Erçel’s Birthday Bash Glam

Turkish megastar Hande Erçel went all out to celebrate her 30th birthday — or the #GreatBirthday as she dubbed the event. The actress put together a grandiose-themed birthday bash inspired by The Great Gatsby. Leaning into the 1920s aesthetics, the style icon wore a corseted mini dress with a feather skirt. Of course, details were abundant and included pearl-embroidered gloves, sequined stilettos and a large pearl choker. Attuned to the era, Hande went for a finger waves hairstyle and rose-toned makeup.

The Turkish sweetheart also nodded at the pantless trend underway with an outfit change that included a white tailcoat jacket, hot pants and fishnets. Opulent, dazzling, and totally on brand, the looks were exquisite and for that, Hande takes the title of best dressed this week.

With December around the corner, holiday looks will be aplenty in the coming weeks. If you’re interested in fashion and beauty, don’t forget to keep an eye on EnVi’s style coverage and anticipate our weekly roundup.
