TWICE’s Dahyun Took Over New York Fashion Week With A Monochrome Look

Each season, New York Fashion Week (NYFW) gives the world’s biggest stars a chance to show off their fashion finesse. Since her NYFW debut in 2022, Dahyun, member of K-pop group TWICE, has repeatedly proven that to be a hot topic at the event. Every time the star attends a show, the internet celebrates her involvement with the fashion industry and this year is no different. Dahyun stole the spotlight (once again!) with her take on monochrome dressing at the Michael Kors Fall Winter 2024 show.

A Moment For Monochrome

Dahyun’s theme for the night was anything and everything camel. The rapper’s monochromatic look comprised complementary Michael Kors pieces that created a suntan-colored daydream. The outfit’s flattering centerpiece — the Ring-Detailed Sequined Mini Dress from the brand’s Spring Summer 2024 collection — featured a straight-cut hem and body-hugging silhouette with hardware detailing along the waistline. The series of metal rings connected the dress’ bodice with the skirt, making for an eye-catching detail that matched the strap of Dahyun’s Bardot shoulder bag and open-toed strappy heels.

Trendy Glam

Beauty-wise, Dahyun kept things cohesive with peach-colored glam. Now, in case you missed it, the American color company Pantone selected Peach Fuzz as the Color of 2024, so the star’s makeup perfectly aligned with current color trends.

Leaning toward soft glam, the eye look layered peach and cocoa shadow to create a seamless gradation on the lids and under-eye. Dahyun’s makeup also featured a peachy lip combination that enhanced her natural lip tone with a satin application. To complement the minimalist beauty and offer contrast, Dahyun sported pin-straight hair falling loosely over her shoulder. 

The Show

The Fall Winter 2024 show marks Dahyun’s first appearance at a Michael Kors show since she was appointed brand ambassador in July 2023. As a now-regular NYFW attendee, Dahyun has mastered the art of turning the front row into her personal runway.

Michael Kors’ showcase was a star-studded event, with Dahyun joining the likes of international stars Tul Pakorn and Mew Suppasit. Both actors also took a page from the monochromatic style book, sporting classy black and dark brown ensembles at the show.
