NCT’s Jeong Jaehyun flaunts a long-time association with the Italian house of Prada. In his most recent solo venture with the brand and Vogue Korea, Jaehyun once again proved why he’s the luxury label’s favorite It Boy. Promoting Prada’s newest line, the star sent a “love letter” through a short fashion film.

Jaehyun’s Love Letter

Sporting two outfits from the luxury brand’s latest collection — one moody black, and one in bright colors, Jaehyun participated in a campaign video in collaboration with Vogue Korea and Prada. The 40-second video shows the artist against various serene backdrops and highlights Prada’s Saffiano Triangle Bag and Brique Saffiano Bag.

Vogue Korea accompanied the short fashion film with the caption, “Prada’s May Issue Collection is a love letter from Jaehyun, facing under the splendid sunlight of early summer.” With his swoon-worthy visuals and charismatic presentation, the singer showed why he’s currently one of the “most sought-after K-pop stars” in the high fashion sphere.

Fans’ Love Letter

After long months of waiting for modeling content from Jaehyun, fans were overjoyed to see the new video on NCT 127’s official Twitter, as well as the star’s own Instagram feed. Fans of the group rushed to social media to express their love, support, and excitement for the new content.

Needless to say, the genuine positive response confirms that fans want more Prada x Jaehyun moments in the future.

Jaehyun and Prada’s Fashion Love Affair

Jaehyun’s collaboration with Prada and Vogue Korea follows a shift in the brand’s expansion toward Asia and particularly, South Korea. Last Men’s fashion circuit, Prada became the top-performing brand during Milan Fashion Week. Meanwhile, Korea ranked the third-highest MIV generating country in Milan. “This is likely due to several famous Korean stars posting Milan FW22 brand-related content,” Launchmetrics stated. With a blooming friendship with the brand, Jaehyun belonged to the list of South Korean talent making waves during Milan Fashion Week. Other celebrity voices included SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, THE BOYZ’ Younghoon, and Juyeon, and actor Song Kang, who became the top South Korean performer, generating more than $990K in MIV for the luxury house.

Nonetheless, Jaehyun’s association with the Italian Fashion brand is not one to be overlooked. In 2021, the singer live-streamed Prada’s SS22 collection on his personal account. He, then, became the only celebrity in the world to broadcast Prada’s runway that season. The buzzy collaboration has also included a galore of Prada looks, magazine campaigns, and fashion show invitations.

As Jaehyun continues to build up his partnership with Prada, fans have a lot to look forward to in the future. In the meantime, you can read everything about this “Fashion Love Affair” here.
