British fashion brand Burberry dropped a new campaign for the Lola Bag earlier this month. However, the coveted accessory has already achieved It Bag status. It couldn’t be otherwise. Considering Bella Hadid, Lourdes Leon, Jourdan Dunn, and Ella Richards fronted the campaign, it didn’t take long before several tastemakers on the internet owned the bag. Naturally, the list also includes our favorite South Korean celebrities.
The Stars in Burberry
Last week, la créme de la créme of the entertainment industry joined to celebrate the launch of Burberry’s Lola Bag campaign. Soon enough, worn by stars across the world, the popular fashion item started to make the rounds online. Following celebs such as Irina Shayk, Dua Lipa, and Bella Hadid, our favorite K-pop and K-drama stars have officially joined the Lola Bag craze. From Burberry’s Global Ambassador Cha Eunwoo, to actor Wi Ha Jun and girl group ITZY, Burberry tapped several celebrities to promote the bag through Instagram posts. Take a look at all the fashionable celebrities Burberry brought together to commemorate its latest campaign.
Actor, member of K-pop group ASTRO, and Burberry’s official brand ambassador Cha Eunwoo. The star is well known for his roles in dramas such as My ID is Gangnam Beauty (2018) and True Beauty (2020). As one of the official faces of the brand in Korea, Eunwoo has represented Burberry in campaigns, photoshoots, and events.

Additionally, the list of celebrities who participated in this digital ad campaign also includes actresses Seol In-ah, Park Gyu-young, and K-pop idols MINNIE (G-IDLE), MINJU, and CHAEWON (LESSERAFIM).
Burberry and South Korea
Although in recent years Burberry has increased its partnerships with Korean celebrities, the brand has always recognized South Korea as one of its strongest markets. Actress Han Hyo-Joo, WINNER members Mino and Seung Hoon, Krystal Jung, and EXO’s Baekhyun count among some of the brand’s earliest friends and ambassadors. In 2021, however, the fashion house strengthened its ties to the Asian powerhouse through various projects, including “The Imagined Landscape” experience in Jeju Island and the appointment of actor Cha Eunwoo as Global Ambassador. More recently, Burberry has also partnered with actors and high-profile celebrities through magazine photoshoots and local campaigns. The launch of the brand’s famed Lola Bag was not any different.
The Lola Bag
Spotted under the arm of our favorite celebrities, the Lola Bag has officially joined the It-bag checklist for fashionistas. As Burberry continues to take over the internet through Instagram posts and viral TikTok videos, we look forward to more of the brand’s collaborations with K-pop and K-drama stars.
